Ah yes, I forgot that Dictate applies to all. GV is definitely the way to go here.

Slightly controversial move - I'm swapping out Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker for Greater Good. Dragonspeaker is a great fit flavour-wise, sure his 4/4 indestructible dragon was handy (especially with Atarka in the mix) and his removal option was useful in a pinch...But quite frankly, he's been a little underwhelming. I'm looking forward to seeing what having a sac outlet/card draw machine is like in this deck.
I'm also subbing Gratuitous Violence in for Regrowth. I think it's going to work out just fine.

I dont like it that much cause your running a low 26 creatures and Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker is #27, take him out that one less creature

Fair play griffstick, I knew it would be controversial! I'm usually ok for dragons, shrug.

There are only so many creatures you need, when you also have ramp, and support cards to make the ones you do play better. Draw like Greater Good helps make the lower creature count matter less by letting you sac creatures on their deathbed to draw into more as well. I wouldn't worry about it.

That's just it xcn. dendrobatid had me thinking about it...Sure, the lack of card draw hadn't been an issue per se, but dammit it would be nice! Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker got the cut and so far no regrets - I'll just be drawing into the creatures I need.

Just thinking outside the box here but since you have a card draw problem why not make everyone elses problem too. Maybe theres ways to empty the opponents hands. But on the greater good discussion, i put some thought into it and i like the idea. The instant free sac into card draw is good in combat situations. I say add it, cause between board wipes, creature disabling enchantments, and spot removals. You can sac in response. i dont know if this helps but Food Chain could be a good sac outlet

Food Chain could be useful, good idea. That art though, haha.

For draw, what about wheel effects? Or something like Soul of the Harvest or Courser of Kruphix to at least filter draws.

I'm actually not overly concerned about card draw. As I mentioned above, it's a fairly mana intensive deck so it's pretty darn rare that I'm sitting there with no cards in hand. The symmetry of Greater Good was just too sweet to pass up.
I think I'd throw in the superior Oracle of Mul Daya if I were looking to add that effect.

I would want Homeward Path, getting big dragon then having blue player steal it sucks...

Ha, good call Jakael10. You'd think I would've learned my lesson after someone stole Sliver Overlord from me...and then proceeded to steal my sliver army with it's ability.
Moral of the story = Homeward Path

Flameshadow Conjuring would be a good way to double your threats, particularly ETB effects like on Thundermaw Hellkite. Really nice build, +1 for sure

Flameshadow Conjuring is definitely on theme + on my shortlist of Origins singles to pick up. Good call Jimmy_Chinchila, thanks man.

I love Flameshadow Conjuring. I like that you can constantly apply pressure on the opponents without turning your creatures sidways. Except for the hastey guy

My pleasure! Really is a cool deck. Foe-Razer Regent could be good to use fighting as removal, would pair well with Flameshadow Conjuring and Frontier Siege on dragon setting. He's kinda clunky though

I've considered Foe-Razer Regent but ultimately just don't find him viable at a costly . So yeah, definitely on the clunky side! I appreciate the suggestion though, cheers.

Quicksilver Amulet, Dragon Arch, Elvish Piper, Dragonspeaker Shaman
just some ideas. +1
October 3, 2015 3:21 p.m.
just noticed Dragonspeaker Shaman in the list my mistake

Thanks DarkHero! Suggestions/Ideas are always greatly appreciated. I should try Two-Headed Dragon out. I like his evasion + double block ability...And that art, badass. Perhaps I could swap out Flameblast Dragon and see how that goes.
I had Quicksilver Amulet in here previously and ultimately decided that I didn't need it. Between the ramp and Belbe's Portal I'm usually ok without further methods of cheating dragons in. The same logic applies to Elvish Piper. Both of those cards work miracles in my green rampy/stompy deck though.
Lastly, Dragon Arch. I like that it fits flavour and theme-wise, but I only have 5 multicoloured creatures in the deck, including Atarka who is usually not in my hand. I suspect it would be a dormant card on the table most games.

Thunderbreak Regent makes an opponent kinda worry about targeting any of your cute flying lizards
October 8, 2015 12:11 a.m.
I do like Thunderbreak Regent, I'm just not sure what I'd cut to make room for him. His ability is a little underwhelming but still, his stats for a 4 drop are pretty sweet. Thanks synonimous_.

What dendrobatid says also applies to Furnace of Rath as well. It all depends on how much you want your opponents hitting you because I imaging this is a "Swing with the Team" kind of deck which will leave you open to attacks. Also Dictate of the Twin Gods doubles burn damage as well so it is doubly the threat to you because A: it deals more damage to you, and B: It makes your creatures more easy to kill due to doubled burn and creature damage.
