Chemtails: Immunity to mill.
LinkOpensChest_wav: Adding a card to an already infinite combo seems a bit pointless. Why not just reanimate them all every turn? They have haste anyways!
GoblinBushwacker: It was in the deck at one point, not sure why I removed it. I don't really pay too much attention to this list as it is mostly theoretical. (I don't own this list, it's just a list of how I'd build my Mikaeus if I wanted it non-budget. So it hasn't gone through playtesting).
I'd lean more towards not playing it, and instead playing more tutors / draw to get into your other more reliable combo's

Sleazebag: You have to exile them after you reanimate them. Such was my thought process. However, on second thought it's still probably not worth taking up a card slot.

LinkOpensChest_wav: You have to exile them at the end of your turn, yes. But you have a sac outlet in play, so you just sacrifice them before that, then reanimate them again!

What would you remove to add in Mana Crypt and Mana Crypt and Xiahou Dun, the One-Eyed?

Are there any improvements you can make to this deck and cards that can be removed for them, without a budget, (but not to big)

Not this deck's creator, but if you're looking for fast mana to combo off early, Unstable Obelisk, Thran Dynamo, and Mind Stone would be the first to go.
Then, more cheap tutors: Diabolic Intent, Imperial Seal, Grim Tutor, Cruel Tutor - you'd want the whole set if possible. Caveat: Some of these are out of my price range.

Thank you so much, also is sleazbag still working on this deck or has he left it?

Congratulations on the deck (the original is a "work of art"). I am building a deck that has this as a base and so I have a question: What is the strategy for the living death card since you have few creatures on the deck ... Thank you and continue the good work!

This Deck is just awesome :3 Great work!
I still have some Questions to some cards
Bitterblossom what exactly is the purpose in this deck? It's a good card, but I think I miss some synergies here.
Living Death most times there aren't that many creatures in the graveyard. If you need something special, you may consider Necromancy
Now some cards I recommend to play (I do play them of "budget" reasons, because I don't own some of the high cost cards like Cavern, Manacrypt, Grim Monolith, Volrath , Vampiric tutor etc.)
Zulaport Cutthroat looks bad because it's a human, but with anything that let's you sac a creature infinite times -> Ein
Diabolic Intent Sac can be a throwback, but two mana tutor is great
Mausoleum Secrets Conditional tutor, too. But instand spead 2 cmc tutor. You can use this after a boardwipe, before all the undying triggers resolve.
Razaketh, the Foulblooded I play him instead of Sidisi, because repeatable
Hero's Downfall I like the planeswalker Part.
And I want to know where to get the mikaeus with the other artwork from your budget list

Thank you, I loved the deck, are you still updating it for 2021?
February 14, 2021 2:56 a.m.
Sorry, not updating the Mikaeus decks anymore. The meta and powercreep of commander has changed by so much since I made these decks that they no longer serve their original purpose, at least not to the level that I want it to. If you want to make a competetive budget deck you are better off picking another commander, as there is an insane amount of high-powered (downright busted) options out there that easily win far better than Mikaeus at 6 mana ever could!
That's not to say Mikaeus can't win, or that he can't be built to be incredibly powerful, but other commanders do it better for cheaper.

Hello Sleazebag!
I was one of many who spent a small fortune creating your Mikaeus deck! And you are right when you say that it has become a bit obsolete given the new commanders and the competitive format that has changed a lot ...
But you cannot let your Budget version fall by the wayside because there you created a true piece of art and a Tapped Out Icon ...
Thanks for the influence!
