Great deck! I just bought it on TCGplayer, and I am looking forward to playing with it and handing it off to my friends so that they can play against my Mishra deck!

Also, as a question, I have a spare Ashnod's Altar in my random Chronicles things. I saw it in your not so budget version of this deck, and I would like to run it in this deck. What should I take out?

a lot of decks bought at an lgs cost more because a lot of stores do not sell cards for less than 25 cents.

Aw shit I completely forgot, Mikaeus is now the 4th highest rated deck on this website!!!
Unfortunately, the next "deck" (It's not even a deck, just a joke) to pass is 250 points above us, so it's going to be some time until we go on to 3rd and 2nd place. That doesn't mean I'm giving up, Mikaeus $20 budget for Nr.1!

i want you guys to check out my budget EDH deck. it costs less than this and it is a thing i invented. here it is. super budget $20 mana severance edh
funny thing is is that it is mostly land its a nice combo.

bah-bammmm: The problem with 90 land decks is that they only work once, then pretty much never ever again. Once the trick to the deck has been revealed, anyone can plan against it, especially considering the deck does literally nothing to protect itself. If they kill your general, you lose. You have no way of stopping this. Although they could just as easily just kill you before you get the mana to win, if they feel like it. They can also counter your mana severance, and you lose. You can't stop this either as you just tapped your general to tutor for the mana severance, and only an imbecille ignores the guy that just exiled 95% of his deck for 3 turns.
It's really fun that one time though, and cheap!

The deck that i made is rather easy to build, and is more for the lols. spot removal isn't too popular in edh, and most of the time edh decks are very slow. my commander is only a 4 drop, so winning by turn 7 can be considered fast. i would like it if you check out my deck and try to help me out a little. i am open to critique and wouldn't mind any form of improvement.

and besides, sometimes i draw the exact card i need, or Muddle the Mixture which i can use as a tutor itself.

bah-bammmm: I realize it's built to be fun, just pointing out the flaws I could see. As for how to build it better, I honestly don't know for sure.
Ancestral Vision is a far superior option to Evermind at least.

How to persuade my local playgroup that my deck (this deck with some more expensive creature) despite its wincon is infinite combo is still pretty much fair to play with? When I want to play with them, they treat me like a cheater. But this deck's game plan is pretty easy to disrupt and based all around commander. Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon kills opponent on turn when it attack unblocked or unremoved, so why is that fair, and our deck not?

Actually I find Grim Haruspex to be not a good card at all. Drawing with her is nice, but I think we need rather cards that defend us or give winning condition, apparently she does nothing.
I use Harvester of Souls sometimes just because I have one and he seems to be pretty suitable boy, especially in multiplayer.
Corpse Blockade might also be useful.

no Blood Artist, Crypt Ghast, Sidisi, Undead Vizier, Viscera Seer, Grave Titan, Diabolic Revelation, Retribution of the Ancients, Jet Medallion, Skullclamp, Ashnod's Altar? These cards are somewhat budget and are in your other version. Also, if I had these cards, what cards would I take out of this version? Thank you so much!

also, Hero's Downfall, what would you remove to make room for him now that planeswalkers can be commanders? Sorry, but another, Liliana of the Dark Realms, where would she fit in and what would be taken out? Thank you so much, this would help me immensely, i cannot express with words how thankful i would be!

Max13272: All of your suggestions are awesome, unfortunately they are too expensive. Check out my Non-Budget version of the deck and you will actually see every single one of the cards you mentioned above (Except Hero's Downfall).
Link to the deck here: Mikaeus, Extreme Not So Budget EDH. Look at it for inspiration on what to remove!
Also, Grave Titan is best if you run Nim Deathmantle as he goes infinite with Ashnod's Altar (Or just has amazing sacrifice value).
TeOr: There is honestly no real difference in your two scenarios, but I have a feeling they wouldn't enjoy playing against a tuned skithiryx deck either. Some people are looking for a specific type of experience when they play, and for some people their kind of fun involves nothing exciting ever happening and only turning creatures sideways in a slow and manageable pace, no combo, no lockdown. Just playing a creature and attacking. These are also usually the people who don't want to run disruption, as it forces them to run less "cool" things with their limited space. Try to convince them to run more removal if they want to be able to deal with your general better.
