What would you replace from the deck with the cards from the maybeboard? Because I'm looking for some upgrades for the deck but cant swing for the all-out deck
May 5, 2018 3:51 a.m.
DeadlyDoughnut7: that depends on how many cards from the maybeboard you are adding.
I'd go all out for effective ramp and fast mana. Since that is the biggest weakness of this deck. Sol Ring, Heartless Summoning. Take out the weaker mana rocks. You can even lower the land count with better ramp. The reason it is so high is that you have limited good ramp.
One thing I caution against doing is taking out engines/fodder that are tutorable. Make sure your transmutes can always hit something. But say the 3 mana slot has Ghoul, Nantuko, Swarm and Grinding Station as outlets in the same cost. So you can safely cut a couple of those.
Another option is taking out entire cmc brackets entirely. Like cutting all the the 5 cmc combo cards Since they are a bit overcosted. (Say pith driller and fallen Angel). If you add a new engine/outlet. A good bet is taking out a card in the same cmc slot unless you are downshifting the decks curve (since it is a bit high, and low is better).
Contamination is a great add since it can win games on its own or buy you time to so so with Mikaeus.
In essence: add ramp, take out high mana cost stuff.

I want to add contamination blasting station and sol ring i dont know what to switch for contamination and blasting station but I was gonna take out work powerstone for sol ring just having a bit of a hard time dont wanna take out too much and ruin the deck

DeadlyDoughnut7: I'd take out Grinding station for Blasting Station, Fractured Powerstone for Sol Ring and Fallen Angel for Contamination.
Three excellent cards to start with.

Thank you for the help I appreciate it Ive played my friends with this deck and its great

Have you ever considered Thoughtpicker Witch? Goes infinite with a colorless mana generator like Ashnod's Altar. One extra card for a combo but picking through a deck to exile the whole deck is fun times(?)

hoyanader: Combo is always with commander, give creatures Undying, create infinite combos using sac outlets, do all sorts of come into play effects, kill everyone.

Hi rapak.
I know what you mean. But my english is not good enough to understan all the synergies combo of this deck. For example the deck says pair any of these cards:
Blasting Station
Devouring Swarm
Fallen Angel
Fallen Ideal
Flesh-Eater Imp
Blood Bairn
Phyrexian Ghoul
Bloodthrone Vampire
With any of this:
Triskelion
Chainbreaker
Cinderhaze Wretch
Lingering Tormentor
Pith Driller
Skinrender
Spincrusher
Tatterkite
Wingrattle Scare
With the commander in play. But i don't understand some synergies.
So any help would be nice.I really one to play this deck.
I just ordered from abugames.

Ok. The most obvious first:
Mikaeus + Triskelion = Now you have 2/2 creature (+1/+1 from Mikaeus) with 3 +1 counters. Use its ability to remove +1 counter to deal 1 dmg to an opponent. Then use 2 remaining counters to kill triskelion. Now because its Undying and has no +1 counters on it, it comes right back to play WITH +1 COUNTER MORE! Now do 2 dmg to opponent, kill triskelion with remaining 2, repeat! infinite damage right there.
Lets do anothe one:Mikaeus + Tatterkite + Fallen Angel = Use Fallen Angels ability to sacrifice Tatterkite. Remember its now Undying. Now thanks to its ability, Tatterkite comes back with no counters. Sacrifice it again. And again. Infinitely. Fallen angel now has huge power in the air. Attack. Kill.
You get it now right?
Mikaeus + Lingering Tormentor + Flesh Eater Imp + Rogues passage: Use Flesh Eater Imp ability to sacrifice Lingering Tormentor. Now it has Persist on its own as well as Undying from Mikaeus. The trick is when it dies, YOU CAN CHOOSE if Undying or Persist activates, and since these give different counters that are removed on next death, it works infinitely. So you boost your imp couple times, activate Rogues Passage, go unblockable, do 100000 Infect, win.
Hope that helps a bit.

You don't appear to be running the best budget board wipe in black, Demonic Consultation, only ~30 cents, banned in legacy, etc.

DragonDanceSalamence says... #15
SynergyBuild: Demonic Consultation is not a board wipe. its a tutor.

What cards would you recommend to accelerate the deck? I have $400 to do it. Any advice?
May 29, 2018 9:56 a.m.
hoyanader: If you have $400 to spend on magic decks, there are probably better decks to spend them on to get bang for your buck, but if you want to spend that amount of money on some AMAZING magic cards that are useful in pretty much any EDH deck ever, I got some recommendations: Sol Ring, Mana Crypt, Cabal Coffers, Mana Vault, Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, Blasting Station, Demonic Tutor, Necropotence, Contamination, Grim Monolith, Thran Dynamo, Toxic Deluge, Phyrexian Altar, Ashnod's Altar.
Some-Duck: When I made this deck, Mikaeus was only $5 :(
SynergyBuild: My only problem with it is that you have a 7-10% chance on instantly losing the game when you cast it.

Hi, I bought the deck (was about $60 on Card Kingdom) and am generally enjoying it, but hoping you can help with some basic questions. (Sorry, I'm relatively new to MTG.)
Can you explain with an example the best way to use "Fallen Ideal" to get the infinite combo? Does it require another card to enchant besides the three cards mentioned (one from each column and Mikaeus)?
Also, I may be doing something wrong, but it seems that the last three of the infinite combos listed above are easily blocked?
Any additional walk-thru examples of executing these would be appreciated.
Thanks!

daliddle: Yes, an unfortunate side-effect of some of the infinite combos being so budget is that they are blockable, but you have other ways to make them win outside of combat like Blood Artist and Zulaport Cutthroat, or ways to grant evasion through equipments. Best way to use Fallen Ideal is to put it on Mikaeus, or any creature that can attack.

Thank you so much for this deck... I decided to build it... had to proxy Mikaeus for now as, Damn, he is expensive. added a few items to add my own flare. Put in a Phyrexian Scriptures, Pestilence, Plagued rusalka, Darksteel Ingot and Phylactery lich, and subbed a couple swamps for Leechridden Swamp, and a Reliquary tower... Once again thanks this is beastly!! subbed most because I couldn't find

Recently played this deck couple times against my friends, got it for $50 incl. shipping here in EU. I can confirm it does 100 percent what the description says. Can be very fun, you dont have to use triskelion miky combo to win. Can defeat expensive decks. I truly recommend this fantastic build.
