Nice, just to say that I am happy to help you, and I will keep submitting cards to help improve the deck. I will list them here and I will wait for your thoughts. Just to say that I like this deck soooooooooooo much that I am building it for my little brother's birthday (and for myself at the same time because it is easy to buy ;) so I thank you for the frequent updates!

Vendetta is actually an awesome card and super cheap, I'll have to add it! Disciple of Bolas is ok too, I used to run Royal Assassin but took it out because it was too slow and expensive.
Fume Spitter would be an infinite self-sacrifice loop if only he could put it on himself! It's still a good card for reusing other cards additional times though, definitely worth playing in a higher budget Mikaeus list.
The difference between most Mikaeus decks and this Mikaeus deck is that with a "proper" expensive Mikaeus deck, you can play him to enable some degenerate effects that net you huge advantages without winning, which sets you in a good position to safely combo out. Unfortunately, the cards that enable this aren't in our price group, so we need to play Mikaeus and WIN when he hits play. So cards that synergize amazingly well with Mikaeus but still don't win us the game on the spot is simply not as good in my budget deck as it would be in a deck that can properly back those cards up.

Hi sleezebag
i know i have said before but I have purchased this deck and am loving playing it, won my most recent commander event, and am very happy with it but.... i have to say that Mindless Automaton won me 50% of the games, with Mikaeus out, its a 1 mana discard a card, draw two cards.... discard a land and you get two fresh cards, one of which may be a land, at which point you can repeat the process, all the players i played against thought this was very over powered, when Mikaeus was present on the battlefield, i have added cards like Lightning Greaves and Whispersilk Cloak to protect Mikaeus. i am truly in love with this deck and have had an amazing amount of fun playing it, for its price..... i give you a round of applause sir, thankyou.

Ok, this comment will be different from my other ones. I so like this deck that I want to help you, and this comment is intended to help your description. Here, I will give you a list, based on my EDH experience and the other comments above, to help you modify this deck if you have more budget. Some cards may already be stated in the description, but this is to help people that are EDH beginners, and I like to help.
Legend:
An arrow means that a card is a direct upgrade of another one.Cards stated are only suggestions.
- Swiftfoot Boots -> Lightning Greaves
- Infernal Darkness -> Contamination
- Maze of Ith political, good in EVERY EDH DECK!
- Cabal Coffers or Magus of the Coffers for mana
- Nirkana Revenant for mana, similar to Crypt Ghast
- Workhorse is similar to Triskelion, but for mana
- Thran Dynamo is another good mana stone, better than the budget ones
- Caged Sun helps for mana and power/toughness
- Gauntlet of Power same thing
- Extraplanar Lens same but only mana
- Snow-Covered Swamp is better for Extraplanar Lens
Part 2 coming soon!

Pentavus would work, but the goal of a Mikaeus, the Unhallowed deck is to have creatures that enter the battlefield without +1/+1 (or the less of those cards possible) or creatures that comes into play with -1/-1 counters. Pentavus would work but might not be the best choice, also because of the high CMC.

DaitokujiAmnael: Pentavus goes infinite with Ashnod's Altar (With Mikaeus in play). Unfortunately, that's the only card it goes infinite with, and at 7CMC that's a bit too much. Still, you end up with infinite 1/1 pentavites, infinite mana and an infinite/infinite Pentavus, which is pure awesome.
hazarr: Mikaeus gives +1/+1 to all non-human creatures you control, so you would need an additional sac outlet on top of that as Mindless Automaton can't kill itself with him in play. When he removes the last counter he is still a 1/1! I'm still kind of sceptical, but since you praise him so I'll try him out myself and see how he works.
Now for infinite draw goodness, try having a Grim Haruspex when you go off!

3Dross: I try to win the turn Mikaeus hits play. I don't have mana to spare on non combo related matters, especially if it isn't instantly killing creatures. So yes, this card can be really awesome in a non-budget deck that has the mana to spare, but here it doesn't work. I'd much rather replace it with Greed if I had B to spend on something.
