Basically, this can work three ways. Get out a Crypt Ghast and/or Liliana of the Dark Realms and ramp into a Lord of the Void and kill them with an undervalued slugger, or use all that mana on a fantastically hilarious Mind Grind!
Jace, Memory Adept, kill spells, and counters. Pretty basic.
Combo Lord of the Void with Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver, brutalizing their library without regard for reanimator, while grabbing their best creatures to use at your disclosure.
Considering adding red mainly because I'm a fan of Grixis, but the
Rakdos's Return
offers control help and hilarity similar to Mind Grind.
Ral Zarek
could offer help with ramping and his ultimate is spectacular. Just not sure if I want to spend the money for eight shock-lands and six mythics for something that may not work.I like
Counterflux
and Dreadbore and
Slaughter Games
. After all, you can't spell slaughter without laughter..
Also, this is more of a control deck, but I tend to run out of cards relatively quickly. Any suggestions on keeping my hand full?
Considering
Realmwright
so that all of my mana doubles with Crypt Ghast. Also thinking about Jace, Architect of Thought as a solution to filling my hand, but I don't want the problems that come from running two versions of the same planeswalker in my mainboard. Reap Intellect could turn into a much better version of
Slaughter Games
.
Wondering if I should add white instead of red if I add a third color. Supreme Verdict could help a lot, Azorius Charm is great, and Sphinx's Revelation could be a lifesaver/gamechanger.
Render Silent
is a better counter spell than the ones I have right now.
Debt to the Deathless
could do quite well, too.
