Thanks! Taigam's Scheming is a good one. Thought Scour's main purpose is actually to trigger the loop, and it often winds up being the thing that does, so I don't think I should take it out... I'm not so sure I need much digging though, it finds what it needs reliably. I'll be experimenting though.

Whoa, I really like what you did with this, very, very nice!
It seems that we have 2 different approaches to the same deck, draw power vs. answers, I couldn't say which one is better. Mine might be more likely to combo out sooner, but yours would definitely survive a longer game against hate-filled decks. Either way, this deck is definitely competitive material now!

Storm525 yea, it actually can end the game on turn 3, thanks to Gut Shot! It triggers VERY quickly, and can still survive the long-haul. AEther Vial lets you put out Mindcrank and Duskmantle Guildmage BOTH on T2.
I still like yours a lot, but I really really recommend loosing Codex Shredder and putting in Ghost Quarter... and Gut Shot, too... It REALLY helps.

Aether vial can't put Duskmantle Guildmage onto battlefield on turn 2 because is only one counter on her. Storm525 look to my version on this deck : DIMIR MILL COMBO (i'm still improving it).

UEDSquadron I know, I meant to say you can play him and activate his ability on the same turn, which is turn 3. I just was typing up in a rush. The Dimir Mill Combo doesn't set off early enough or reliably after playtests. I think Storm525's version is a lot more improved...

As awesome as Tezzeret is, this deck wants to win on T4, I think the spot is better left to more draw spells, also, Thought Scour would be better replaced by something that digs more, like Serum Visions or Sleight of Hand. While it can trigger the combo, there are plenty of triggers in this deck that make it redundant.
People have been suggesting Taigam's Scheming for my list, but I'm not sure, maybe you might want to try it out though.
