A blue/black mill deck that draws power from our opponent's graveyards. While we are undisputedly a mill deck, we have no intention of winning by completely emptying anyone's library. Instead, this deck primarily focuses on cards that scale with graveyard size (Cruel Somnophage, Bonehoard), as well as reanimating creatures (Extract from Darkness, Sepulchral Primordial) or recurring instants and sorceries (Memory Plunder, Diluvian Primordial).

This deck also includes two distinctly Dimir subthemes: First, shapeshifters (Evil Twin, Stunt Double) let us take advantage of what our opponents have on the battlefield as well as the graveyard. Second, fear/unblockable is an iconic UB theme (Shadowmage Infiltrator, Mask of Riddles) with some really fun theft payoffs (Fallen Shinobi, Thief of Sanity). Cards like Aqueous Form and Distortion Strike can be used to enable these abilities (or one-shot an opponent, perhaps with a massive Consuming Aberration) and it lets us make good use of Cipher (Arcane Heist, Writ of Return, Whispering Madness). If you have an evasive attacker ready to go you can cast a cipher spell in the first main phase, then swing immediately after to essentially double-cast the spell.

I specifically avoid lethal mill effects like Keening Stone or Cut Your Losses + Fraying Sanity. It's much more fun to make your opponents suffer defeat at the hands of their own cards. This deck would also benefit from more ways to steal or copy noncreature permanents out of the graveyard.
