If you add some flicker effects, Ramos could be activated once more per turn.

Thor_Naadoh yea man! which ones would you use? i've got another deck with a bit more focus on token doubling that really takes advantage of flicker effects, so for this one I wanted to jam in as many X spells as possible to put that 10 to use asap!

K34 nice, thanks! I hadn't seen that before... not sure if it fits this build, average cmc is just over 3 because I want to dump mana into spells with X in their cost, but I'll keep an eye on it if things evolve into higher cost spells! cheers!

I'm pretty sure Burgeoning and Ramunap have no interaction with each other. Burgeoning requires having lands in your hand and Ramunap only let's you play lands from your GY.

mn6334 they don't interact with each other, but with both on the field @ the same time its a lot of fun feeling like one can't possibly ever miss a land drop ever. I'll edit the note to make that more clear, thanks!

How about Coalition Relic for some extra ramp? I think it would synergize well with Winding Constrictor and Doubling season.

Nalkim I've been thinking about a few different potential replacements for Sol Ring for when I'm playing 1v1, you're spot on with the synergies, its one I should keep on the lookout for! What would you cut from the 99 for it?

Honestly I'm not sure, I just finished putting together a Ramos deck and need to playtest it a bit more before I can say what should be cut confidently.

The other card I was looking to put in my deck is Manamorphose, literally (at least) 2 free counters for Ramos.

Out of curiosity, do you have any go-tos you tend to grab with conflux?

Nalkim, Fair enough! This is one of the hardest decks I own when it comes to editing and swapping in new cards, most things have multiple uses which makes this so much fun to play...

Conflux helps put pieces together that might not be ready, grabbing one or 2 of the X spells for ramos to fuel is usually a smart move, any missing doublers, reyhan or marchesa, almost certainly a board wipe or rift... it should really lead to a win condition within a turn or 2 I think...

Gilder Bairn is pretty good for counter doubling

PIZZ_PAZZ I would play that card just for the art... it has too many limiting conditions to make the 99 I think, but, I want one...

Why don't you play all the bringer such as Bringer of the Blue Dawn so you an get 5 counters?

December 2, 2018 2:14 a.m.

mn6334 says... #14

aznb01777 The Bringers only count as single color cards. They have the ability that you can Fist of Suns to cast them and can only be in five color decks but they would only put one counter on Ramos.

mn6334 damn that sucks, I thought it would be abuseable. Well you can run Manamorphose free draw and 2 counters

dubcomm says... #16

aznb01777 it's alright, I'm at the point now that it can be pretty difficult to know what to swap out for new cards... card draw is fun and random, Bounty of the Luxa, all the ramp stuff, and a bunch of tutors help keep the hand full.

Woah this deck looks like fun mate. Any primary comments on how the deck runs? Is it consistent?

Goofus thanks! it really is some of the most fun magic i've played... this deck might not have the highest win percentage, but when it does win, it does so in very big blowouts... make sure you have a lot of dice.
