Miller Genuine Draft

Commander / EDH*

Skooskoo

Sideboard

Miller Genuine Draft: Miller Genuine Draft (MGD) was introduced in 1985 as the original cold milled commander non-draft deck, which means that the deck is not standard. MGD received the gold medal in the American-style Premium Deck category at the 1999 World Magic Cup. It also received the silver medal at the 2003 Great American Deck Festival (Deck-Fest). The concept for cold-filtered Miller Genuine Draft was developed by product consultant Skooskoo & Company. Skooskoo evolved the concept from Miller's New Ventures effort to launch a new mill deck at a time Miller Decking was in danger of becoming a much-cloned standard deck manufacturer. Originally introduced as "Miller Mill Life Genuine Draft", the "Mill Life" part of the name was soon dropped. MGD is actually made from the same recipe as Miller Lite but with a different treatment. It was developed to give Mill Life opponents the same taste in a 100 card deck as they found in non-commander 60 card decks. It has 99.7% win-rate.[5]
