That sounds great! My sideboard can definitely use some work for sure. I need to get some standard cards at least in there so that I can have the option of adapting to whoever my opponent might be. But now by the looks of it, these last few suggestions look GREAT in my main deck. I know I would hate to play against it, so that's pretty damn good! Thanks a lot everybody!

Turn 3 Norn's Annex would be pretty ridiculous but effective? Ok I'm done commenting now.

That's a pretty bad ass suggestion! I don't think that I really have any more room in this deck for it anymore though =[ I wish I could play all of these cards everyone has been telling me about lol

How 'bout Muddle the Mixture ? It can tutor Duskmantle Guildmage or Mindcrank . It can also protect your combo. You can cut every mill card and non-utility creatures. You win with combo not with random mix life loss and mill. After removing those "needless" cards you may fill your deck with control and tutors.

I've definitely thought about that! The deck is so awesome at the moment though, that I don't really want to dismantle it. I do think that I will construct a separate deck specifically built how you mentioned though :p

I've played this deck several times now and have won probly 90% of my games, but I've come to find that Archive Trap really hasn't done anything for me. Instead I'm going to take those 4 out and find something to replace them. And yes I know the milling power and potential of the card along with Ghost Quarter , but it just isn't running smoothly in this deck. I will however keep it in my sideboard for when I play opponents that for sure do a lot of fetching :p

I think i wanna try Essence Harvest out after I put a Consuming Aberration into play :p

I would suggest some Leyline of the Void for the sideboard, as some modern decks run creatures such as Emrakul, the Aeons Torn that cannot be milled.

Ah yes eldrazi. Most of the time I want creatures in the graveyard, but cards such as that are definitely an exception haha Thanks for the advice!

I prefer mainboard Trickbind over Sideboard Leyline of the Void
September 4, 2013 6:08 p.m.
Trickbind is so much more versatile. You can use it against fetch lands, Planeswalkers, graveyard shufflers or Door to Nothingness . It doesn't hurt your combo nor your Crypt Incursion. It is easier to cast, if it's not in your opening hand than Leyline of the Void . It has Split second.

Hmm... good point there! Perhaps it would be beneficial to have both in my sideboard? Oh and does this also negate the ability from cards such as Emrakul, the Aeons Torn mentioned above that makes it uncounterable?

Also, what happens after the ability is countered? Does it just give me an extra turn to kill him? kind of a like a Fog or Riot Control but instead of combat damage it's activated abilities?

what about something like Interdict ? It seems to have a similar effect, but I get to draw a card as well for the same mana cost.

Ah but I see, Trickbind can stop triggered and activated at once.
September 4, 2013 6:49 p.m.
It doesn't counter static abilities such as "Emrakul, the Aeons Torn can,t be countered." When Emrakul, the Aeons Torn hits the graveyard, its shuffling ability goes to the stack. You counter that ability before it resolves. Then Emrakul, the Aeons Torn and other cards in your opponent's graveyard still there. Trickbind is main board card not side board card. If your opponent uses even Fetchlands, Trickbind is playable. Most of the Modern decks have Fetchlands.

Something like Interdict is something like too old(= something like banned). Emrakul's graveyardshuffling ability is trggered ability. Interdict can counter only activated abilities.

ahaha yeah I figured as much just by the way it looked when I came across it. At the moment though I don't really wanna change my main board up too much. I am fixing to construct a similar deck build around the Duskmantle Guildmage and Mindcrank though! There are going to be a lot more counters and stalls and other things in there. I'm pretty sure Interdict will make it's way in there :p

I'm surprised no one mentionned Invisible Stalker yet, over that Deathcult Rogue : lowers the manacurve, truly unblockable, and hard to deal with for the opponent. Since you're a milling deck you don't care about its stats.

I have a mill deck with Echo Mage . Could do serious damage with Glimpse the Unthinkable .

I actually did experiment with him in there for a while, but the game is over before I really get a chance to use him so i decided against it :p

Oh yeah, duh, while making suggestions, I totally failed to keep in mind that you're running playsets of the most powerful mill spells ever printed! In that case, I would throw a few things into your sideboard; a little counter magic for dealing with control deck, and some chump blockers and a board wipe or two to deal with aggro. Maybe mainboard a couple of draw engines like Curiosity for your rogues.
