Miltown is Just as Addictive

Modern Control Mill

hexwing

Milling deck. Your basic control strategy: outlast your opponent, guerilla them with instants and keep that game going as long as possible.

How I Maybe Win

Mill them until their library is gone and auto-win, hold out until you can get those sexy Harbor Serpents out. One strategy I was considering for this deck was casting return card spells on myself if I've got any permanents with "Enters the Battlefield" type spells on them.

Mana and You

Renegade Maps are for getting some extra juice if you need it. You're probably not going to encounter mana droughts much at all (and if you do it's probably your fault and not just bad luck. Remember kids: Always distribute, it may just save your life)

Milling and You

Start right away at it, do NOT give them time to get ready or figure out what you're going to do. Save mana every turn to use on instants to counter and return creatures that may pose a threat,to mill at first but the central way revolves around Doorkeeper. You can use his special ability to mill your opponent based on how many cards with defender you've got on the battlefield. You're gonna want to do this every turn if able.

Future updates include Tormod's Crypts for increased Jerkassitude, 3x more Guard Gomazoas and Vortex Elementals and finally 3 more Evanescent Intellects for more milling power.
