Sage of Hours bring it back with commander and Lord of Extinction (his ability is active in the graveyard) after a Mirror-Mad Phantasm or Traumatize is at least 8 turns and a Corpsejack Menace can double the turn count. and as for cutting cards just find a casual group to play with, give them a heads up about card count and see what just dosen't work.
