Here goes my first attempt at getting into the modern format. Still relatively new at Magic, have only been playing since M14, and have only really played standard. I've been doing some research into what I want to play with modern and I think combos of some sort is the best fit for me. I took a lot of time looking at different combo decks, mainly Twin, but I want to do something a little less mainstream. so here is my attempt at a duskmantle mindcrank combo. As for the rest of the deck I tried to build a strong counter spell shell to protect the combo as well as card draw to find it.

I was originally messing around with trying to splash red for some burn with Bloodchief Ascension but decided to keep it a little simpler since i don't want to pay the ridiculous price for fetch land to make the mana base for that. I thought it would also be more advantages to have the larger/stronger counter shell.

Pleas Help me out where ever you can. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
