No Boros Reckoner ?

Boros Reckoner is expensive, but well worth it.

Uh that one! Yeah, he is a bomb in both the field and the wallet. It was just now I realized I could have Boros Reckoner in and perhaps Temple of Triumph as a Scry land while waiting for the BR Scry land. I currently don't have him, but when I put him in, I might as well as included Anger of the Gods as my board wipe.

Fanatic of Mogis needs to be in the main board

I would reccomend against using anger of the gods. If you don't have 2 ragebloods on the field it will kill all your minotaurs. With just one the anger will kill the Rageblood and then the damage will kill all the rest of your minotaurs.

Needs more swamps, your split is kind of off.

@GeoKineticOpps, I forgot 1 Swamp here, it was supposedly four and it's up now. What's more, I only need 4 Swamps after all since I have both Blood Crypt and Temple of Malice in here. Also I got more red sources than black.

Have you considered adding something to your sideboard that doesn't make all removal dead draws against control matchups?

Dreadbore and Magma Jet still functions as they likely be running planeswalkers, and scry is never bad. Doom Blade and Ultimate Price not so much.Perhaps a set of Duress , cutting Drown in Sorrow from the sideboard.

Sweet deck! it is nice to see your documented success with the minotaurs. I havn't had chance to play mine competitively. I really don't much in the way of suggestions.. looks like you have a well oiled slaughter house!

This is awesome! Have you considered adding Door of Destinies ? I know it's a little spendy, but I picture some amazing Ragemonger - minotaur - Kragma Warcaller combos coming out of it. +1

I used to consider Door of Destinies way back before BNG arrived. If it costs 3 or 2, I might have included it. The cost of 4 makes it not a fit for me, where I would have cast Mogis on that turn instead.

Seems like this deck could work out really well! Only things I'd do are replace the 3 Doom Blade and 3 Ultimate Price with the 2 Mizzium Mortars (cause of Blood Baron) and 4 Hero's Downfall . In the two sideboard slots I'd put in a 2 Slaughter Games to deal with irritating stuff your opponent has like Stormbreath Dragon , Elspeth, Sun's Champion and such. I'd probably replace the 2 Drown in Sorrow for 1 or 2 more Rakdos's Return also cause that card does a lot of work against control. I hope this helps some!

Thanks for the suggestion. Thanks for reminding me about Slaughter Games which I completely forgot and I do have them. About the Mortars, I'll test putting it main and remove Ultimate Price for a while. For Rakdos's Return I only have one for the moment and I might pick another.

As for Hero's Downfall , I really did not include it for now since it costs 3. I opt to include removals that only costs 2, which you've probably noticed. I might include it when RTR rotates out.

Yeah it is a higher drop. Personally I think it's worth it though because it deals with Planeswalkers also like Elspeth, Domri, and Xenagos.

As of now, I use Dreadbore to get rid of Planeswalkers. It may be sorcery speed, but the cost is what makes me use it. As stated, I'll be using Hero's Downfall once RTR rotates out of Standard.

Any updates regarding effect of removing Deathbellow Raider ? Fellow cow-lover right here lol
