Alright, so first, you need to make your creatures more consistent. I'd drop the Felhide Brawler s and add Fanatic of Mogis but maybe only 1 or 2 more. If youre going for a more aggro approach, drop the Flurry of Horns . Your Ragemonger is gonna be making your creatures cheap anyways so saving the little bit of mana by using the flurry isn't quite worth it. I'd reccomend more Gnarled Scarhide s just because theyre free with Ragemonger and they get really beefy with Kragma Warcaller and Rageblood Shaman . I'd either drop or sideboard the Searing Blood , Cast into Darkness and Magma Spray Minotaurs are usually REALLY heavy on creatures with light spells. Just some suggestions :)

I run a deck just like this, but i make it so I run 4xRagemonger 4xRageblood 4xWarcaller 4xFelhide Petrifier and 4x Deathbellow and 4xGnarled Scarhide and 2xMogis god of slaughter, because you aren't going to be killing anyone with your devotion or random 1 card minutors in your deck, its the death touch + trample and warcaller +2, 0 attacks that will win you the game with getting every card out for 1-2 less because of Ragemonger, if you have 4x Ragebloods you don't need Rouse the Mob, and fury of horns is a worthless 5 drop for 2 2/3 cards that can be used but its best if you just add other cards like 2xMinutaur Skullcleaver or hero's downfall or another elimination spell But i do like the Blinding flare and i think i will add it to my deck because it seems to work really well if lets say i dont have the Deathtouch to add on to my trample and i wont kill them that turn because of it

Also Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth will help you a lot if you are getting mana screwed

I'd take out the Fellhide Brawlers and add in 1 more Deathbellow Raider and 1 more Gnarled Scarhide. Fellhide Brawler is just straight up a bad card in comparison. Deathbellow costs the same and has 1 more toughness and regenerate, albeit rather pricy regenerate. Gnarled Scarhide costs 1 less and only has 1 less toughness, which doesn't matter because both are vulnerable to Shocks and most people have their own 2 power creatures by turn 2.

I was running Mogis for a while in my own minotaur deck but he doesn't really do much to most people and he has no synergy with the rest of the deck. I'd take him out if I were you. Maybe replace him with Purphoros, seeing as you'll hopefully be throwing out creatures. I've actually traded my Mogis away to someone who's running a UBR control deck, which is where he belongs :P

As others have said, Flurry of Horns isn't great, especially when you have Ragemonger out reducing the costs of your better nontoken minotaurs.

I'm unsure why you're running Lightning Strikes. They can be useful, sure, but you decided to do creature aggro, not burn; and they're taking up the draw slots that creatures could go in. I'd replace them with something that benefits your creatures somehow or just put more creatures in.(maybe a couple more Skullcleavers?)

First of all, you need those Bloodstained Mires and an Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth as well.

Since Minotaurs lacks 1-drops, Thoughtseize is a decent fit here since we need some disruption to make sure our Minotaurs can go through and remove other problematic cards such as enchantments or artifacts which we can't deal much on the battlefield. Deathbellow Raider is a must at 4x, and so does Gnarled Scarhide. Since the deck doesn't draw cards, Magma Jet can help set-up draws for you.

All the Bloodstained Mires and the Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth that I own are in my Mardu Warrior Black/Red/White Deck. If I get to play this deck in a FNM or other tournament, I'll switch them out for the night.

Magma Jet is really nice in this type of deck. Helps you get what you want when you want it. They are the last card I side out unless I'm facing something that only has big creatures. I'd use Scouring Sands over Barrage of Boulders. You very rarely will have the 4 power to get the feroucious ability.

Actually, all it takes to activate Barrage of Boulders' ferocious ability is to have one Kragma Warcaller on the field. Declare attacks, all minotaurs get a +2, giving them a minimum of 4 power. Play Barrage of Boulders and suddenly they can't block as the minotaurs stampede over them.

Magma Jet would be nice, in exchange for my Magma Sprays but alas I don't have any currently.

Please feel free to leave +1 votes.

You can't play Barrage of Boulders during your combat phase. It's a sorcery.

And I'm not sure I'd have wanted to upvote this deck. I did to be nice but it doesn't actually look particularly powerful right now. Maybe when you replace the Brawlers and Butchers.

I've found minotaurs to be halfway between aggro and midrange. Cut out some creatures, get rid of the Flurry of Horns, add Temur Battle Rage, get some Minotaur Skullcleaver, as they are a huge threat to deal with.

Boros Reckoner is one of the focal points of my minotaur deck. also a great equipment card for the deck is Eternal Thirst. and have 4 Rageblood Shaman just to make them easier to draw to add a little more fire power

@averagejoe131

Indeed Boros Reckoner was a perfect Minotaur way back during RTR-Theros Standard. Too bad he isn't standard legal anymore.

koth_of_the_bummer

i run the Boros Reckoner in my side deck. when i play standard i have Felhide Spiritbinder. but i only run 5 different minotaurs in my deck with a play set of each.

You can put the white as splash. :) Otherwise it is reason I don't make a Minotaur deck. You have them. :)

I use Oracle of bones and don't get the tribute paid and have 4 in garruks wake nd get to cast one free! Big Minotaur fan, almost can hang with a overloaded sliver deck

Cool! I would recommend Didgeridoo.
