Maybe Riddlekeeper? Think you should consider Sphinx's Tutelage, especially neat with Memory Jar!

Thanks! I just got the Startled Awake Flip and I'm planning in getting Sphinx's Tutelage also.

I goes really nicely with Whispering Madness, Dark Deal, and Windfall.

I like the deck. One thing i would caution you about is you do not seem to much graveyard hate (exile all cards in target players graveyard) or ways to search your opponents library to remove creatures. There are several creatures that when they hit the graveyard cause the graveyard to be shuffled into the library. Milling for life with the guildmage will still work though. I think I'm going to steal some of your ideas though.

Thank you for the advice! If I were to bring this to a competitive event or something similar I would definitely take the advice for more graveyard hate. In my current play group however, no one runs a deck that brings the graveyard back so I've modified it to do better against those decks. I'll definitely sideboard some cards for that though. Thanks again and draw well.

Hiya
Some ideas:
How about Aqueous Form instead of Invisibility? It is so much better imo!
Laboratory Maniac can be useful for the Enter the Infinite combo, but there are many other ways to get out of that position (e.g.: counter the counterspel, or discard your hand at the end of the turn and play psychic strike, or even Library. Maniac is not reliable, as he can just be removed with a Lightning Bolt. Perhaps you should remove him, and play Nemesis of Reason instead. If you decide upon leaving Maniac in, maybe add Demonic Consultation; play maniac, and just before your next turn starts, play consultation, and search for Viashino Skeleton. Instawin!
For combo-pieces, try Ring of Three Wishes or Behold the Beyond
Creatures I like for mill-decks: Wight of Precinct Six and Nighthowler.
Hope you like the ideas. Have fun milling!

Thank you so much for the advice.
I definitely like Aqueous Form over Invisibility.
I must say, I am hesitant to take out Laboratory Maniac, but I would love to play Nemesis of Reason. I'll have to figure out how to include it.
As for the combo pieces, they're good, but expensive. Otherwise I would think about playing them.
My only problem with the creatures is that they don't do anything to help me mill. I would much rather win by mill (or infinite mill/life loss combo) than win by damage.
Again, Thanks a lot and draw well!

I always liked Strionic Resonator with Mirko, because land-grinding for eight hurts.

I like that MisterCasey... I'll have to think about putting that in. Milling for eight lands does sound fun. Thanks for the advice!

It's very unusual to have no recursion in an EDH deck. At the very least you should have a Praetor's Grasp to remove anything like Darksteel Colossus so they can stilled be milled. Worst case, you pull their best card and laugh.

That is very true and I hadn't thought of that... I'll definitely add Praetor's Grasp or another similar card to the deck. Thanks for the advice and the upvote!
Draw well.

Hello, good looking deck over all! couple things i personally may recommend.
One powerful combo you already have most of the pieces for is Enter the Infinite + Jace's Archivist and although it sounds like suicide adding in one of the original Eldrazi titans such as Kozilek, Butcher of Truth will effectively mill all opponents while keeping yourself alive.
Next is a recommendation just based on decks mill players tend to have trouble with which are token spam decks, such as Krenko, Mob Boss Commanders. Which can be delt with via mass removal such as Nevinyrral's Disk or if you're willing to spend a good amount Damnation. or alternative methods such as Cyclonic Rift to combo off Jace's Archivist
Lastly this recommendation is only if you and your friend group is okay with breaking card legalities within commander as this last card from my knowledge is not EDH legal. That would be Painter's Servant because the joy of seeing your opponents deck disappear when you use Sphinx's Tutelage or Grindstone with it is amazing.
None the less, good deck as is, Happy milling!

To be honest, I have thought about putting many of these cards in (and they're great suggestions by the way!) my one problem is I prefer not to pay more than $5 on a card unless it is absolutely essential for the deck. Nevinyrral's Disk might make the cut. I'd love to put the other cards in, there just a bit too pricey. Thanks for all the advice!

Also Jindo, I forgot to mention that I love the idea with Painter's Servant. My friend's faces would be priceless!!

Hiya beastofblades,
Thanks for the upvote and I'll have to get around to getting one of those. I've wanted one but just haven't gotten around to spending the money... I'll add to the maybeboard for now.
Thanks again! :D

Spell Crumple then Tunnel Vision is basically insta-mill go all but 1 card in their deck...
August 4, 2016 12:14 a.m.
Ooooh... I like it. Any idea of what I should switch out ComboCrazy?
August 4, 2016 12:19 a.m.
I think I'll cut the Remove Soul, but Sphinx's Tutelage has proven its worth on this deck... KI was thinking maybe Fate Unraveler.

Yeah that makes sense as well. Good luck with the deck! If only Painter's Servant wasn't banned.
