With the tokens I can still produce a large amount with Krenko to boost Clickslither with, even though they don't get reanimated they still serve a purpose.

Thanks for the +1 I appreciate it. When I first built this few years ago, it was a Boros artifact deck. It was just a causal build then, but over the years I've made it more competitive. That and I wanted to do something different than what others were doing.

Yeah, I would love to use some of my Mardu lands in a Modern deck. Do you feel that the Mox is necessary here, or more of a luxury?

And another question: Can you win without resolving Jor Kadeen, the Prevailer?

I can yes. With a few Tempered Steel out, all my guys get big and can dish out a lot of damage fast. Or have a Etched Champion out with it's metalcraft active. There are a decent number of ways for this deck to win if Jor Kadeen, the Prevailer isn't on the field.

I really like how you could use [Shrapnel Blast] with [Scuttling Doom Engine] and deal 11 damage to the opponent.

Even though Darksteel Ingot is indestructible, I would drop both of them for 2 more Mox Opal. 3 mana to ramp or 0 mana to ramp is insane. Being able to Jor Kadeen T2 with metalcraft is probably the single most powerful thing this deck can do. The price is high on them for a reason, any affinity deck needs an automatic 3-4.

Kryzis if I had the money to drop on 3 more Mox Opals I would in a heartbeat. The reason I have one in here is because I got it for cheap. If I can find anymore cheap I'll add them.

I actually didn't think of Chrome Mox. How much are they going for? I might get a few if they are cheapish.

About $18 a piece. More expensive than Darksteel Ingot, but well below that of Mox Opal.

If you have blue you should consider Ensoul Artifact. It can make your zero cost orthinopter a 5/5 flying as well as keeping the metalcraft triggers
