Hi, love the idea behind the deck! Maybe you should have 2-3 targeted removal. How is Gilt-Leaf Winnower working?

Sidisi, Undead Vizier has to do a legendary check before entering the battlefield fully. so basically unless you sacrifice the sidisi enchanted with Mirror Mockery before the clone enters, the clone will not enter and you will not get to tutor. not sure if you already knew that, but i wanted to be sure that you know you cannot tutor each swing with sidisi by exploiting other creatures or even the clone as it enters, because it never enters due to legendary rule. its all in the legendary rule that you can check out on the wizards site.

i do like the deck tho, first time i've seen good use of mirror mockery.

Nusee thanks for the comment! I've been having a lot of fun with it.. It still hasn't been delivering as I've wanted, so I'm thinking of replacing it with either Crux of Fate or Languish. I prefer Crux just because of the totality of the spell and I'd prefer to keep four drop open for Demonic Pact however I see the flexibility of using Languish instead. Also, another thought I had was Silumgar, the Drifting Death but I haven't had a chance to play test that yet.

Sariell :D It's fixed, im surprised you noticed that because it was a misclick in the previous five minutes of your post and fixed before I even saw your comment haha xD thanks for the heads up though.

DrFuzzyGloves You're 100% right! I can't believe I didn't think of that, thank you very much for pointing that out. I updated the description and now am probably going to focus on disperse to redeploy Sidisi. Appreciate the feedback :)

Nusee hey! After play testing Profaner of the Dead in place of Gilt-Leaf Winnower I've had much more success keeping the board clear.

Great! Was thinking of using Silumgar's Command. It could bring alot of utility, and it could bounce Demonic Pact. Might be worth trying instead of Rite of Undoing.

I love this deck! +1 from me

I am working on a similar brew for casual play using Mirror Mockery. Priest of the Blood Rite is a killer. I am not sure if there is room for it, but having a Mirror Mockery on it will generate a 5/5 flyer with each swing. Also, with the amount of exploit in the deck, the 2/2 would be a good exploit target.

Hello :)

Sweet deck dude !

What are the deck's good/bad matchups

iLegendGames I've thought a lot about putting Priest in there. It's huge like you said, just trying to figure out what to drop for it.

lulute I haven't had a chance to play it at FNM yet :( I will tell you that it's easy to get counter spelled into taking the game loss from pact. Against agro decks you have to be discriminate with your opening hand to ensure you can control the creature plays.

Good deck! I really love Demonic Pact, so I was wondering why no Daring Thief, since you could make your opponent die :D

By the way, I didn't really understand the "eternally send creatures each turn back to your opponents hand" part, can you explain me how it works? Thanks :)

p.s. remember that you can also use Mirror Mockery on an enemy creature to block with the clone as the creature attacks ;)

Rune206 says... #14

Aleboth93Sure I'll explain it! It really works best when you have Mirror Mockery + Sidisi's Faithful in your opening hand. Faithful plays for one blue, and then turn two you play mirror on the Faithful and swing for 0 power, but since attacking spawns a copy of the creature you can immediately sacrifice the copy from the enter the battlefield trigger and send a creature an opponent controls back to their hand. This opening combo typically sends most decks back a couple of turns and lets you have more control over turns 3-5

I'm not necessarily trying to make the deck right now - without knowing what BFZ is bringing to us, my only goal right now is to test with Pact and familiarize myself with the card. Once BFZ starts getting spoiled, I'm going to hit the ground running with brewing and testing.

Looks very cool, +1! Thanks for the BFZ consideration.

Really like the deck idea and the Mirror Mockery synergy with exploit.I think Tasigur, the Golden Fang would fit inhere and maybe some counter spells?

Imagine you play against control: mass removal all creatures gone, ugin gets countered...

Haha but i really need to get my fingers on a playset of the mockery. ;)+1

Hey not a bad idea! I'll put him in the sideboard, the main board is a little tight right now. Thanks for the comment!

First off, I love this deck. I just got the cards I lacked to make this and take it to FNM this week. But I have a noob question: In the combos section, you talk about for example Qarsi Sadist having Mirror Mockery and getting 4 up/4 down out of it. With the token, wouldn't you only get 2 up/2 down because you're not exploiting 2 things? Maybe I'm not reading the cards right, but if you could explain I'd appreciate it. My FNM folks can smell fear, so I need to be able to explain it to them if they ask me, lol.

Not sure I understand the Sideboard... What's the Kheru Spellsnatcher for?

zaloorb says... #22

Possessed Skaab? Insurance for missing bounce when you need. And what about the zombie lord? With delve, he's easily recurring I imagine and makes Liliana's token become a nicer threat. I likey +1

Rune206 says... #23

Mortem It was just another idea for protecting bouncing the enchantments up, or to spell steal a combo spell. Not the best card I think I could play against archetypes strong vs. this deck, but it was an idea I wanted to try.

zaloorb Not quite sure what you mean by zombie lord but I've given serious consideration to placing Risen Executioner in the sideboard if that's what you meant. The possessed scaab is also a curiosity however it's pretty expensive for only being able to affect my creatures and bounce spells. That one might take some more fiddling around with before I commit! :P

HalfLife4Mac Thanks! Definitely let me know how it goes, this will be my first week bringing it to FNM myself so I'm curious what experience you have. What I meant by the 4 up 4 down is you can usually get two swings off before an opponent has enough power to bear to destroy the creature. It is 2 up 2 down for each exploited token.

Sidisi's Faithful does not have flash, Mirror Mockery puts a creature copy on the field only during battle which then leaves after battle, i dont see exploitation of the copy happening when the copy is not in play at any time you can cast Sidisi's Faithful or am i missing something?
