Mishra based EDH Stax. What's not to love?

The backbreaking synergy that makes this deck work is Mishra, Artificer Prodigy + Nether Void. Effectively, it makes all of your opponents spells cost 3 more while you get to play all of your artifacts for regular price. Planar Chaos also gives all of your opponents spells a 50% fail rate, when you've already invested 3 mana extra in something that's just brutal.

Use this advantage to drop Winter Orb and Mana Rocks and begin to lock the board. Follow up with any number of other stax artifacts, including Smokestack, Possessed Portal (all star), Trinisphere, Tangle Wire, Ensnaring Bridge and Crawlspace (these last two are understandably amazing together).

You can use Salvaging Station and cantripping artifacts as a draw engine and to feed smokestack to easily 2-3 (up to 10 with thopter assembly working) to quickly dispatch your opponents board. Trading Post is also a beast here.

You can win a few ways:

1. Lock the board with possessed portal + salvaging station and make everyone sac everything. Swing with mishra over and over to win. Also applies to smokestack at 3-4 to quickly clear everything out.

2. Goblin Welder + Thornbite Staff + Triskelion = infinite damage.

4. Tezzeret the Seeker (Ultimate/search for a combo)
