If you look at the deck explanation it states implicitly why Mishra....

Sorry, I'm just used to competitive magic, where no one would end up playing Mishra. I did read it, I just hadn't put it in my head as a factor.

This is a VERY competitive deck micah1

I run my lgs EDH league and I play this deck more often than my others because its "fair". When I say this is fair, we're comparing it with Kaalia, Zur, Scion, Bruna, Slivers... And this deck competes side by side with them and does VERY well. This deck can with turn 3. This deck can stall out the game so no one ever wins. Including myself. This deck can do EVERYTHING you want a deck to do, and more. Not to mention with a resolved Possibility Storm, I am the ONLY player who has control over the board state.

Without ever even touching my infinite combo's this deck can be brutal and vicious. I don't care about your flying dudes. Your indestructibility, your life total, how many creatures you play or how big they get. We just deal with it. Mishra doesn't even have to touch the board. But when he does... Hell breaks loose. Everyone knows that when Mishra comes out its time to prepare. He can even go Voltron if he has to. Which I've done.

Not many decks can handle 85% of the spells being uncounterable. Then all permanents being indestructible. Then my life total not changing. Then not being able to cast the spells you want to cast.

If this isn't "competitive" enough for you, please.... Tell me what is?

I'm aware, I was only commenting on your commander, which doesn't seem like it is the best. Personally, I really like the brothers war, Mishra especially, I just said that because this deck felt and looked like a competitive deck with a tier 2 general. My commander decks are The bad progenitus super friends, Omnath, Nekusar, and Ob Nixilis the Fallen. Only the Ob deck is completely real, and serves well.

It's pretty cheap now. I was honestly confused back then, about why you were running Mishra. Lots of fun interactions with him though. I sound like a terd reading back though.
