Thanks. I am debating whether to make this deck or a human deck. I haven't been able to get any Innistrad cards yet, so which ever one does better.

maybe Ancient Grudge but for sure need to make room for Brimstone Volley . With all the grave yard sacking Birthing Pod deck it is a instant and deals 5 damage accounting for 1/4 of there life. I would say run 8 lol jk. I knwo you can only run 4.

Looks really good has some serious potential. My buddy is building a r/w human deck just so he can use Brimstone Volley and Curse of Stalked Prey .

Thanks. What do you think i should take out for the Valley though? I was thinking maybe -1 card:Full Moon's Rise and +1 Brimstone Volley .

yea i would want a play set though. only way to do that is to cut a creature. And they all have a big part with one another.

I made some changes while you commented. Any more suggestions?

try this -3 Hanweir Watchkeep  Flip  FlipMTG Card: Bane of Hanweir for +3 Brimstone Volley which would give you 3. and if you wanted to keep the card:Full Moon's Rise at 3 you should if not drop one for another Brimstone Volley

I don't want to go for a full playset so i am just putting 2 in, but i am putting 2 in the sideboard for the matchups you mentioned.

bman5604 says... #9

understand I would do the same with the Ancient Grudge

looks good +1 from me.

Thanks. I guess i am going to put money into this deck instead of the human deck that i was going to make.

You should flip the two enchantments around. Curse a 2 or and wolf regen a 3 of.

Also, Garruk looks a little out of place? I like Daybreak Ranger  Flip  FlipMTG Card: Nightfall Predator as a good deturrent. Maybe make him 4 of instead.

Otherwise looks like a cool Werewolf deck. Good job.

Also, take out a land or two for more card:Red Sun's Zenith s. 24 land is a lot for a deck that tops out at 4 with most of the deck 3 or less.

QuentinD says... #14

Thanks. I'll go ahead and make those changes.

QuentinD says... #15

I went ahead and made all of them, but i didn't make card:Full Moon's Rise a 3 of. I kept everything at 2 and added Caravan Vigil s in case i get mana screwed, plus extra mana for the Zenith's never hurts.

card:Devil's Play is strictly better than card:Red Sun's Zenith . The zenith will shuffle back in but i think flashback is better than shuffling it back oin, especially when it cost only 2 more mana. Just a thought

you could even throw Surgical Extraction onto the side. It might be a good idea if people are running Ratchet Bomb . that thing will take the deck out

QuentinD says... #17

Good ideas except for the zenith part.

Reasons why zenith is better:

  1. If it kills a creature, it's exiled
  2. After using flashback, you can't use it anymore, when the zenith just keeps coming.

kevinmtg24 says... #18

if your needing to use a zenith 3 times you really shouldve won by then...

October 12, 2011 10:12 p.m.

QuentinD says... #19

Not necessarily. The main reason it's in there is to exile pesky creatures.

I run a similar deck... except I run:3x dismembers3x adaptive automaton 3x phyrexian metamorph

and my side board is about the same just I use creeping corrosion and beast from within...

More Kessig Wolf Run . Ive seen it win games on the regular. Amazing card. Even if you dont buff it creatures get trample just from paying the base cost. Plus the trample would help damage get through for curse of stalked prey. Other than that it looks good, needs tweaking but looks good. +1

Thanks guys.

@BeasTWoRk

The way this deck has been working it doesn't really need those cards, but if that makes your deck work then that's great. But i just don't think i need any of those.

Id take out rsz for Beast Within for removal

October 23, 2011 12:31 p.m.

QuentinD says... #25

But rsz is removal, although Beast Within does say permanent while rsz is only creatures. I don't know it's controversial. Theres reasons to keep rsz and reasons to swap it for BW. Can anyone help with this?
