Nice deck, I run a similar deck for tournaments, just with a splash of blue for counters and Snapcaster Mage . It really doesn't work too well. 2-3. Just because of the fact that people run Wolf Run Ramp. I find that Wolf Ramp runs better. Rampant Growth , Parallel Lives , Mayor of Avabruck  Flip  FlipMTG Card: Howlpack Alpha, Cackling Counterpart , Garruk Relentless  Flip  FlipMTG Card: Garruk, the Veil-Cursed, and Kessig Cagebreakers for late game work extremely well. It usually can ramp up faster than a Wolf Run Ramp deck. Having a Howlpack Alpha  Flip out with a Cackling Counterpart and two Parallel Lives . Spawning up to six wolves a turn with them all getting +3/+3 is devastating. Running Garruk, the Veil-Cursed  Flip and popping out a deathtouch wolf or two is just great fun to stop those huge monsters from attacking. Also lulzy against pesky Sword of Body and Mind . I'm running something like this tomorrow in a local tournament. If you like, I'll let you know how it goes.

Ah, completely forgot to +1. Silly me. I'll fix that. And here's the link to my Werewolf deck. Let me know what you think.

done some recent playtesting against friends decks. This deck is amazing against all of them except Blightsteel/Shape Anew. Can anyone give me advice of a G/R way of stopping it other than adding Blackcleave Cliffs and Memoricide . Would really appreciate it, thanks.

against a blightsteel/shape anew deck, i'd say side in those Ancient Grudge s and hope you get them before turn 4 lol. If you're really concerned about it, Into the Core will handle blightsteel.

also, i think having both Naturalize and Ancient Grudge in the sideboard is a little overkill. There are very few decks with a lot of enchantments, and I think your Beast Within can take care of that. I'd replace one of the two with something like Nihil Spellbomb or Surgical Extraction to combat Burning Vengeance decks, Snapcaster Mage decks, solar flare, G/X decks that abuse Spider Spawning and Gnaw to the Bone , etc.

I actually built this deck and it's a lot of fun. One question, why did you remove Asceticism ?

QuentinD says... #13

Didn't really need it that much-plus it's tough to side in and keep it balanced.

Very nice werewolves deck, very creature centric which is an approach I haven't had much success with but maybe that is just me :)

Have you considered Blasphemous Act in place of Slagstorm ? Usually it will come out as more expensive mana-wise, though quite often it will be at Day of Judgment levels or better. Gives you the ability to clear out Titan's, Hero of Bladehold , and snow-balled illusions decks. It can be practically free against tokens.

Regardless, have a +1 from me.

G/R Werewolves with a Burn Sensation <-- My take on Werewolves so far. Can't wait for Dark Ascension to hit.

Why no ? It's close to , but more useful to your other werewolves.

Nvm, I just read you use only innistrad.

Yeah, this is my first deck that i made with only ISD. If you check out my other werewolf deck it uses both ISD and DKA. Misty Mountains-Part II

I really like this, but now that Dark Ascencion is out, there are a few new werewolves to use. I really like four ImmerwolfMTG Card: Immerwolf's to make sure my werewolves stay werewolves.

Why do you have more forest than mountains if your only 1 CMC are red ?
