Maybeboard

Trimming Mizzix back to its core competencies. Nearly creatureless combo-control, no big splashy effects or token amounts of tokens (though I will miss Docent of Perfection  dearly). The only alt-win-cons are Capsize or Spell Burst lockouts. Golden Pig Reiterate is the critical combo piece besides Mizzix. Others are redundant (2 rituals and turnabout make infinite mana, X draw spells or Frantic Search find the damage dealer or draw the opponents' whole libraries).

Can win at instant speed with Mizzix in play on 4 experience counters and 3 red mana. That can happen quite early, but doesn't have to. With 9 counterspells, 6 wraths, ample removal, and plenty of both card selection and burst draw to find what's needed, keeping the board below critical mass is the name of the game while gathering the pieces for a combo turn. And all those effects generate experience counters as long as Mizzix is in play, which is ensured with protection equipment and the aforementioned counterspells.

This is probably my most competitive deck I would actually build if I still partook in cardboard. No fast mana or free counterspells, and if I wanted to get cEDH spike-y I would play something else anyway.
