Mizzix don't want to have fun, Mizzix want to win! We buyback counterspells, we don't need to pay our X's! We make infinite mana and we tutor spells that combo with each other.

X almost always gives us an experience counter since we only have to pay the base mana cost, and you don't need to pay buyback either most of the time.

Once spells are 6 cheaper you can make infinite mana with Reiterate and Seething Song... hopefully you still have a Banefire to finish them off with... or maybe you'll have to settle with infinite Haze of Rage storm triggers.

Haze of Rage lets Mizzix occasionally swing for lethal Commander damage if you remove the blockers. If you've already cast a spell to do that you only need five red for 22 damage.

Sakashima the Impostor and Spark Double can copy Mizzix for double the triggers and double the price reduction. That means if you cast one of them on turn 5 and follow it with a one mana instant or sorcery you get 2 counters and your next non-permanent costs 4 less.

You can't have Gifts Ungiven but we got Intuition... if you get Mystic Retrieval then you can get the other 2 almost guaranteed.
