Mobilized for Madness (B/R Vampire Tribal)

Commander / EDH* BR (Rakdos) Tribal Vampires

Phoenix-22

This deck began life as a U/B/R Vampire Tribal Mill Strategy. The deck had something of a split personality, so it failed miserably. I went back to the drawing board. This is the result. Suggestions and comments welcomed.

Shadows of Innistrad provided a new way to look at Vampires with the Madness mechanic. One fun fact is that a creature can be cast for it's Madness cost at the time it was discarded, regardless of phase or whose turn it is. This Pseudo-Flash on a strong tribe made for some very interesting possibilities.

Olivia, Mobilized for War augments a Madness strategy by giving haste to your creatures while also allowing you to cast more Madness triggers. The best part is no one sees the interaction coming until it's too late.

Falkenrath Gorger is critical to the strategy, but play him only when the board is safe. He eats more kill spells than any other single creature in the deck.

While I have added some necessary card draw and tutors, Slate of Ancestry and Insidious Dreams work uniquely well with Madness. Nahiri's Wrath has also pulled double duty while being a potent board wipe. Mana Echoes can get out of hand very quickly if you go on a Madness spree.

Some Noteworthy Cards: Molten Disaster is here for infinite combos and slide decks. Olivia Voldaren is here for pinging and stealing. Fiend of the Shadows is here mostly as a tempting target for a kill spell...but I'm not above using her for shenanigans. Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet ruins reanimation. Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief is one of my favorite kill spells on a stick and a potential game ender. Yahenni, Undying Partisan gets overlooked while it gets bigger, plus it can load up my graveyard for a big surprise late game. Blood Seeker punishes token decks but few people see him as worth a kill spell. card:Dark Imposter removes and clones the big enemy threats. Necropolis Regent can pump the vampire legions. Vampirism really hurts token decks. The hidden danger in this deck is Patriarch's Bidding, which can be a game ender if played at the right time.

Updates Add

It took a lot of time to test this and acquire all the cards. But at last this has been unleashed.

The results so far have been positive. It can go heads up against This is Zombieland and split the wins evenly. It has won in a few multiplayer matches, often in a fun way. But the deck isn't overpowered, which is good for my playgroup.
