Sideboard

Hello! This is a deck I am making based on the Rallyfenza deck I saw on MTG Goldfish, it was the inspiration for this deck. Any ideas would be great, and Thanks!

The idea behind this deck is pretty cool. The main combo is based on two things: Blood Artist, and a sacrifice outlet. This allows me to deal lots of damage through Blood Artist triggers, and this is how we usually win. Once these creatures are in the graveyard, we use Rally the Ancestors and Return to the Ranks to get them back, and rinse and repeat. The twist is we also have an infinite combo with Vizier of Remedies and Safehold Elite.

4x Blood Artist: The main doer if the deck. He wins the games and paints beautiful pictures with your opponent's blood. You CANNOT win without him, trust me.

4x Zulaport Cutthroat: Blood artist 5-8. When I refer to the artist, know I refer to both. Note: If your opponent has out Leyline of Sanctity, he will work and the artist will not, as the cutthroat's ability does not require you to target.

4x Viscera Seer: Our only one drop in the deck, and our first sac outlet. His scry ability is very useful, do not be afraid to sac away your board looking for a recur card, or any other combo piece you may need.

4x Cartel Aristocrat: Our next sac outlet. His ability is also very useful, it will often allow you to make a crucial block of get in the last few points of damage you needed. Great card, nest best sac outlet I know of.

3x Vizier of Remedies: This card allows the full combo with the next card, so I'll leave you here.

4x Safehold Elite: This guy might confuse you. Everyone knows the classic Wall of roots-Finks/redcap combo, but we have one thing different: we already are playing 8 Blood Artists. We don't need the life gain or damage triggers, we just need a card that we can sac forever. Safehold Elite is our perfect guy. He is also only 2 mana, meaning Return to the Ranks and hit it and I don't have to spend an extra mana on rally. Works great.

4x Satyr Wayfinder: Another 2 drop creature that fills our yard with combo pieces, smooths our lands, and gives me an extra artist trigger, then i can recur it and do it again? Sign me up.

4x Collected Company: There is a reason this card has a namesake standard and modern deck, it is busted. This card can win you the game on the spot.

4x Return to the Ranks This card and the next play the same role in the deck, so I will explain the differences. If you couldn't tell, they are to recur all the cards in the yard for extra value. Return to the Ranks returns the cards permanently and has convoke, but is a sorcery, can only hit creatures cmc 2 or less, and you have to pay for the creatures individually.

3x Rally the Ancestors: returns each creature at the paid cmc but only until end of turn, but is at instant speed.

1x Path to Exile: Path is great, will explain in the board section. I might replace this spot with another rally.

So, in case you couldn't tell, this is a budget land base. I am slowly upgrading to the non budget, but these lands work well, just aren't quite as consistent. Plus this is a Collected Company deck so fetches really pay off. The non-budget base is:

4x Windswept Heath

3x Marsh Flats

2x Verdant Catacombs

2x Overgrown Tomb

2x Temple Garden

2x Godless Shrine

2x Forest

2x Plains

2x Swamp

3x Path to Exile: This is the best removal spell in the format in my opinion. If you are playing white you need to have a full set somewhere in your boards. Run these in against infect, eldrazi, tron, etc.

4x Qasali Pridemage: This spot was initially Reclamation Sage but I really wanted it to be recurrable, so I went with the pridemage. Plus it is a better body. Side these in EVERY game 2 because nearly everyone runs some type of graveyard hate.

4x Duress: These would ideally be Thoughtseizes, but I don't have the money, so duress will do. Run these against any control type decks or anything you think needs it.

2x Natural State: Now with twin banned, you should definitely play this over Nature's Claim, because what do you need to get rid of above 3cmc? Run these against anyone really deep on graveyard hate.

2x Eidolon of Rhetoric: This is an odd spot, it should probably be eldrazi hate, but it works. Run these in against any combo heavy decks like storm.

I would love to hear any comments or suggestions you may have. Thanks and +1!
