Mono Blue devotion/artifact deck.The reason I constructed this deck is because I wanted to try out Master of Waves in modern.

The idea is quite simple. I try to get board control by taking over enemy creatures/permanents with Vedalken Shackles or Memnarch and kill with the blue devotion tokens, in combination with the buff fromGrand Architect and Eldrazi Monument.

To play Memnarch in turn 4, Grand Architect in combination with Master of Waves gives me the manaboost I need.

The reason I play Phyrexian Metamorph instead of the faster Phantasmal Image is, because I can play him with only tapping two blue creatures and two lives, when I have Grand Architect in play. Main Idea is to copy the Master of Waves but also the possibility to clone myself everything I need, just in case.

Kira, Great Glass-Spinner is what protects my board against your typical spot removal. In combination with Spellskite, I controll what is targeted, it prevails especially against mono red burn decks or aura based decks. Worst enemies are mass removals. Against those, I play Eldrazi Monument.

The two mana drops are more bait than anything else, but also to block fast decks, especially Lighthouse Chronologist and Spellskite are able to block fast decks. Lighthouse Chronologist will give me turn advantage when I have too much mana and nothing to spend it on.

Any ideas how to draw more cards more frequently?
