Ok, let's get right to it...the turn 3 kill condition...
T1 Swamp->Thoughtseize/Duress/
Despise
T2 Mountain-> Generator Servant
T3 Land-> Sac Generator Servant for , tap your other 3 lands for Master of Cruelties, attack (because Servant gave it haste) and your opponent's life total becomes 1 (if they don't have a blocker) After that, use a Gut Shot to end the game.
Everything about this deck is abusing Master of Cruelties, or stalling until you can use Master of Cruelties. Thoughtseize, Duress, and
Despise
take early game threats away from your opponent.Dreadbore, and Terminate deal with early creatures. With all the low drop instants and sorceries, Young Pyromancer pops out tokens that help block attackers if our opponent utilizes an aggro strategy.
In my testing I have found other methods of play. I know that revealing your hand kinda stinks, but you can cast Thoughtseize on yourself, dump Master into the graveyard, then attack with Alesha, Who Smiles at Death, paying her ability cost of BB to bring Master to the battlefield tapped and attacking.
If Master comes out later than turn 3, Break Through the Line wil ensure he gets through. Got multiple copies of Master in your hand but lacking the other pieces? There are options...cast Read the Bones to scry 2 then draw 2, or you can discard non essential cards for Tormenting Voice and draw 2 cards.
I don't really have any ideas for a sideboard at the moment...not sure that it needs one. The deck is relatively consistent...so far I usually have a Master in my opening hand about 50% of the time. Any thoughts or suggestions? I'd love to hear them!
