Made a few small changes that I will discuss on the main page once I'm done with the write up!
Added Temur Ascendancy over Sarkhan Vol as my "haste enabler" - This card is simply unreal. I know it's not in the format yet; but with cards like Genesis Hydra (see below) and several other 4/4's+; this furthers the card-advantage engine of this deck...I've tested it in about 80 games now; and literally I've never had a game where I wished it was a different card.
Replaced Chord of Calling with Genesis Hydra . Genesis Hydra is a "mini-Wave" (which just so happens to be the bet card in the deck :). Beyond this, however, is the fact that you can cast a Genesis Hydra for X=4, grab Temur Ascendancy AND THEN draw another card...it's a 3-for-1...and this deck is built on card advantage. Not to mention that Cavern of Souls can make it uncounterable!
Replaced Chameleon Colossus in the main board with Rosheen Meanderer . There are so many X-costs in this deck (Kessig Wolf Run, Polukranos, Genesis Wave, Genesis Hydra, Bonfire of the Damned, and Chord of Calling if you end up going that way) that he is a great body that can ALSO ramp. He is 4/4, so he triggers Temur Ascendancy. He is a "Giant" so I can set Cavern of Souls on "giant" for both he and Primeval Titan ...he just continues the synergy the deck is built on (ramp, draw, and devotion). I have Chameleon Colossus in the board now; and could easily switch this if need be (against black decks, control, etc.)
With the changes, the deck actually now draws more cards and ramps even more. Chord of Calling
is AMAZING in a "toolbox" version of Green Devotion (and I will post one on here and/or a link to a few so anyone reading can see this type of green devotion deck too); however Genesis Hydra is automatically a 2-for-1 and often a 3-for-1 in this deck; which gives us even more overwhelming power and speed. I was fortunate that Temur Ascendancy
read the way it did; as it is officially the fastest way to give only my creatures haste (ties with Fervor
)...but it also draws cards!!!
Of course I will continue testing; and I will provide results in a succinct way (I will probably have it as a link so it doesn't take up a ton of space here). Let me know what you think of the changes. I'll update the description section within the next two days before I re-feature the deck.
Sideboard changed as well, but I will add these changes the same day as the description (as I am still in between 18 cards and have to remove 3. *

I also am trying a 1-of Domri Rade
(and right now a 1-of Polukranos, World Eater
, however I haven't tested it enough to be sure) as game one "removal".
Their fight ability both have allows me to remove a pesky flyer, "odd" creatures like Platinum Angel, etc. as well as any creature I'd like. It's just nice to have removal if it's needed and Domri can keep drawing cards or providing a peak for Coiling Oracle at worst :)
I've also added a Silklash Spider to the board as "flyer protection" because it's activated ability is crazy :)

Hey guys! So the deck has changed quite a bit...due in part to the epicness that is Genesis Hydra , the amazing synergy of Temur Ascendancy , and other additions/subtractions (Domri Rade , polukranos, Bonfire of the Damned in the board, etc...
Needless to say, I need to fix the write up and take some new photos of the deck...I will do so today and get it back up and running!
Also, thuzra, I do have them double sleeved. I traditionally use Dragon Sleeves (green of course :) but wanted to try out Ultra Pro because I was told they shuffle easier. I think I prefer Dragon Sleeves though (I didn't really find any difference in the shuffling). In the next photo, you will see that they are back in their Dragon Sleeves...but thank you for pointing that out. Out of curiosity, what sleeves do you suggest? Are there better ones than Dragon sleeves? I started with Dragon and hadn't swtiched up until trying Ultra Pro's out based on my friends "shuffle suggestion"; so I'm a relative novice when it comes to sleeves...I'd love to hear your thoughts on it if you have the time.

CurdBrosBrewingCo: In terms of quality, I have had best luck with KMC Hypermats. My friend got me hooked on them, and although they command a bit of a price tag, the texture and protection they give are second to none, I've found. =)

I agree with slovakattack - KMC Hyper Mats are probably the best. I like Dragon Shields as well, though, since they are strictly the most durable sleeve. But! Hyper Mats are also very protective (they will rarely split, unless you mishandle them, or shuffle weirdly), and are the actual best fit for double-sleeved cards, so long as they are the KMC Perfect Size inner sleeves. I haven't tried the Legion inner sleeves, but I know they're a bit larger, and make double-sleeving sometimes awkward. I would play, double-sleeved, in Dragon Shields or KMC HMs. KMC Supers are good, too, but I find them to be inconsistent in texture? Anywho, I would stay away from Ultra-Pro except for limited decks or really cheap decks - they are the best budget sleeves, but they split easily and often. For something like this, there is no reason to settle for less than Supers. I don't know if they have green Hyper Mats, though, but I haven't bought any since the times of them only coming in black and clear.
Ultimately, I guess it comes down to how you prefer to shuffle. If you mash shuffle, you probably want matte sleeves (like the Hyper Mats), but if you prefer to riffle, you probably want Dragon Shields. Dragon Shields also have a tendency to get dirtier, quicker, than other sleeves, if that matters to you. As long as you keep your hands clean and play on a playmat, you should be fine, however.
In short: Dragon Shields are strictly the best as far as protection is concerned. But Hyper Mats have a better double-sleeved fit and have the really nice shuffle feel of Ultra-Pro.
Sorry if this has turned into a rant (eheh), but I feel your sleeves should matter, especially in an all-foil deck that could easily curl if exposed to a little moisture. And ESPECIALLY if you get those lovely black Nissas!

Great deck!!! I hope an archetype like this can take off in competitive Modern. I don't see why not, as long as enough people adopt it. I was very happy to stumble upon this deck and your other ones.
I can't help but think that Unravel the Aether is better than Seal of Primordium in the sideboard. This is especially true against Affinity for Darksteel Citadel . What do you think?

Ahhh, I see it's probably so it's a permanent type that can be hit by G-Wave. That makes sense.
What would you think about the mana base moving up to 3 Cavern of Souls if you find yourself in a control heavy meta?

In what match ups are you siding in Elderscale Wurm ?

I dropped all of the Misty Rainforest and added one Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx added one Genesis Hydra and replaced the last two Mistys with Wooded Foothills seems to be working fine in playtests ill give a update when I can take it down to my lgs and play against some better decks.

Played with this deck against a control today and it is simply amazing. Even if the opponent try to destroy or flaw your manas, the deck continues to produce a lot of them. Could cast the Genesis Wave for 21, and it was absurdly strong. Thought too about using 1x Primal Surge instead of Genesis Wave , and Elixir of Immortality on it. I think it would work like a mini combo since the deck hasn't Instants, and with the Elixir you could prevent the loss by the lack of cards. It's just an idea, and it could be on the sideboard. +1 on it ;)

Hey there!!! Thanks for the recent comments. Sorry for the little hiatus. We had a little Curd enter the world five weeks ago (the first child for either of us); so we were focused on that a few weeks before and of course a few weeks after :)
We are officially back though. We're posting a few lists this evening and I'll try to get everything up the next couple days. That includes updating this deck where needed. Glad to get to talk to everyone again!
The Primal Surge/Elixir is a fun idea dekinks :) Just hope you don't hit a Wave...but most likely you'd still get your value. I'd love to hear how it did!

Hey Crazybop09...I did try Blood Moon (and actually was pretty happy with it). I actually have been playing a new Elf list for a little while that I think is bonkers :) I'm formatting it now to post it; but I've been talking about it on the Devotion Thread on MTG Salvations for a while (it's considered "The Elf Devotion Build"...but of course many on here know I (and others like you) have been building/playing elf devotion since Nykthos was printed!
I'm really excited about the new build though because it is extremely fast (I felt like I had to make some changes when Treasure Cruise was printed and Delver/Ascendancy decks became a thing moving more toward speed/combo and less toward midrange.) I'll have it posted tonight...but I'd LOVE to see your list as well (as there are only a few of us Elf Devotion guys/gals out there and I love seeing lists of those who have tested it a ton).

Yeah ill get it up here, ive tested basically every splash along with the elfball combo, which i feel is to fragile, ive tested it with 4-12 lords... i feel like its possible to make it a more aggro/lord deck you just got to find the sweet spot in # of lords but id love to see your new deck. Ill let you know when mine is up.

What are your thoughts about replacing that nissa with the Origins's version?

Hiromei....interesting thought....Nissa, Vastwood Seer Flip certainly has interesting applications with Genesis Wave....to be honest, I haven't played this version of devotion in quite some time (I've been playing my Walker Combo version and Elves lately); but it is something I would love to hear more about! Interesting idea! Thanks for posting it. Please feel free to post or PM me with additional thoughts or ideas you have about it (or link your deck list here so others can see it!)

CurdBrosBrewingCo, I really love this deck idea that I pulled out my trading binder and started trading some cards to build this deck. I cut some corners mainly around Land so it dropped down to $200. It's about 1-2 turns slower than yours, but overall I still like it because it still ramps like crazy. This is what I ended up substituted.
I didn't find Coiling Oracle's draw mechanics necessary seeing as I still have other draw mechanics. I added Shaman mainly because it's another win condition with genesis wave and all the other elves. I've won a few games with that alone and feel satisfied to replace 2 Coiling Oracles, with 2 more winning conditions.
I took out an Abundant Growth seeing as I never feel the need of needing 4 for early draw and added a Mana Confluence to the certain mana pool to fetch with Primeval Titan seeing as I usually have 2 Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx before I need a Red mana.
This is self explanatory, Had to do some budget land cuts, and added in land cards that I already have and I would think to deem appropriate, I added Temple of Mystery simply for Scry, It helps me put unwanted lands to the bottom of library for when I get mana flooded and has helped a lot as well.

They are indeed! Also, I dunno if this is resolved or not, since the pictures are outdated, as you said, but you should probably consider double-sleeving this deck, if you haven't already, and in better sleeves than UltraPro, considering that, all-foil, this is a deck in the upper four-figure range, and that some cards in here, by themselves, are $200+. More of a matter for personal preference, I suppose, but some of the epic prestige is lost when your $200 foils curl like linoleum.
