If you're going for a discard based strategy and you have Waste Not , you gotta have Liliana of the Veil . No question. Not even a suggestion jus a command.
Really though decks like jund that utilize discarded cards with Goyf, and decks like this have to have Liliana. Its just so good and with Bob you have extra fodder to feed to her.

Ha :). I've done that a thousand times. (Especially when there is only one walker, sorcery, etc. cuz they get hidden :).
You are 100% right though LineDart...she is a house in this deck. I can't count the times I've got to the "Lily Lock" with this deck. She is a necessity.

Yea TO can be weird.
BTW I put up the 4c Delver I was talking about

Oo, you added in Waste Not - it's definitely my favorite card of M15, the rest don't look all that playable aside from Nissa, Worldwaker (sort of, making lands vulnerable is a bit of a downside, only good in devotion), AetherSpouts actually nevermind I see a lot of good cards, looks like a solid set...
I might have to revisit standard if this block shows the same promise as the core set... (will never beat Zendikar, that was my favorite!)
Anyway, how is Waste Not doing for you? I like what it's been doing in my instant speed discard deck (which still has a few kinks), seems like it should fit a tempo build like this even better though, so I'm excited to hear about its performance.

Here is my Rise/Fall deck, more Discard oriented: Rise of an Era, Fall of an Era. It has playtested well, going 3-1-1 in my playtest session.

just so you all know, CurdBrosBrewingCo has been a bit off the grid because one of the curd bros had his first son!!! Anyways, if they do decide to update this, I will be excited because it is a fun deck(: I love Treasure Cruise, and it would be amazing in this deck if it weren't for the Dark Confidants.

@Dreno33: Good to know! I remember you were off TO for a while, too. How come?
Either way, good luck with the child!
I've never wanted kids, but overall my standpoint is relatively unpopular. XD

Thanks Dreno33!
Hey guys! You are absolutely right that this deck got some major upgrades with the me block this far! We will make sure to update this, as well as our multi-turn, and the Jeskai delver list (both of which saw slight changes as well). Fortunately, we've still been playing ; so we've been able to write all the changed down.
Thanks for the well wishes. And scorpix there's nothing wrong with not wanting kids. A lot of people have them that shouldn't! The important part is knowing what you want and living it.
We're glad to be back!
I think Dreno33's hiatus was for study if I remember correctly. Just had a ton on his plate at the time.

Chalice probably not as effective anymore since Treasure Cruise and Dig got banned.

Hey guys! Sorry for delay...it's been a few sets since we've updated this list. We'll get it updated this weekend!

Kolaghan's Command is begging for inclusion in here. An instant speed mini-Blightning worst case scenario, now that's powerful.

Hehe, I revisted my esper control deck after suggesting that card, and it dawned on me just how powerful Looter il-Kor could become with this type of build and delve cards. Completely reworked it, and am currently testing the idea. It's still mostly just a splash of red, but I'm finding more and more red cards fit in nicely, might just have to jump ship to grixis.

Sorry for the delays in changes/updates guys...I ended up getting diagnosed with skin cancer; however had a successful surgery and have spent the last couple weeks healing up! Between that and the birth of my baby boy; it's been a lot to deal with the last couple months (most of it good though!) I have no room to complain. I have a great life. I just didn't want anyone to think I wasn't interested in their thoughts or their brews...because I most certainly am!

Wow, that's terrible that you had skin cancer! That is really bad!

I've just now come across this deck for the first time. I think you've got a pretty cool deck here! Good updates too from four days ago.
I think that if I were playing this deck, I'd do something cute with a few changes. Firstly, I'd drop all three Dark Confidant's, as much as it pains me to do. Sadly, I feel like the fetches, shocks, and Thoughtseize are enough damage, and that Bob with an average CMC of 2.32 is a bit high. To run Bob in this deck, I'd like to see sub 2.0 avg CMC. For that reason, I'd probably have to cut him. I'd also cut Sedraxis Specter entirely. While a 3/2 flyer with unearth that makes your opponent discard is good, I have an alternative that I think you'd appreciate, though probably won't agree with. Hehe.
After those changes, I'd add 3 lands (I can see 20 lands WITH Bob, but if I took it out, I'd probably need more lands), two Rotting Rats, and two Grave Scrabbler. With that change, I'd probably also cut the Chandra for a fourth Liliana because of the synergy with Grave Scrabbler. Late game, you would unearth Rotting Rats, discard Grave Scrabbler, cast him for 2, free Disentomb a Snapcaster Mage or something. Liliana of the Veil's [+1] ability with Grave Scrabbler does two things. It stops it from being a minus for you, and gives you a blocker. Seems pretty cute. :)
I'd like to see some more love for this deck and some conversation about the recent updates. +1'd and featured.

I'm going to have to agree that jace doesn't fit in here.
The deck feels more aggro so it is either him or bob that have to go, and bob seems stronger.
Sorry for the late response, but I too have been busy irl (just crazy long hours).
A thought is Bloodghast to replace the jace slot, although there's plenty of other options too.

This deck looks awesome and like a lot of fun. I recently got into Grixis myself and just love it as a color combo. Was just wondering about a card in the sideboard here. Why Sowing Salt instead of Crumble to dust? They both do the same thing for the same CMC, but Crumble to dust only costs one red instead of two, which would make it a little easier to get off if you really need it, but wanted to fetch into some other color combo lands to play different cards in your hand. Was just a thought, was looking through and figured I'd just drop a comment and say some words, love the deck.
