I'll link yours on mine when I have access to a laptop again, for the moment; someone corrected me on my deck. I'd mixed up Muddle the Mixture s transmute and converted mana cost. You can actually only search for things with a cost of 2. Still makes Pili-Pala tutorable though! For GA I used Drift of Phantasms

Ah, that's what I get for not reading cards fully haha.

Dude this is awesome. I would almost, however, just ditch the red elements and use Legacy Weapon as your game ender. If you already have pili on the field and you drop the architect, you can play the Weapon and instantly exile everything for a one-sided wipe equivalent to Worldslayer . If they ever try to play anything again, you will just exile it in a second anyways, and gradually kill them with the minimal damage granted from the architect and pili (notwithstanding you playing more creatures).
Use those 3 extra slots for some more card draw/tutor/removal. Maybe use Echoing Truth . Without a land tutor for Sulfur Falls the odds of drawing both Banefire and one of your 3 required lands is very inconsistent, or at least was when I playtested your deck a bunch of times. Not to mention that your Banefire can be easily stopped by a subbed Leyline of Sanctity , etc.
Other than that, well done. I wasn't sure if Krovikan Mist would work since you have fewer illusions than before, but in most cases it seems like he always will. +1, bring this to work :)

I came here for the Illusions of Grandeur , I was disappointed. But I do like the use of Krovikan Mist

Grand Architect was my first strong deck, and I love your list. +1 for having good taste.
It might be a little slow and vulnerable for competitive play, but I ran Prototype Portal and Mindslaver in my list for an infinite turn control combo. If nothing else, it's fun (for you) in casual games.

How does Grand Architect target Legacy Weapon ? It's not a creature and I can't see a way here to turn it into one.

Crap haha. I meant to link Treasure Mage there. Thanks for the catch,

It's a win con with infinite mana. Exile absolutely everything at instant speed. It may not be as effective but it's just another way to kill your op.

But ... you dont have infinite mana of every colour
June 1, 2013 10:28 a.m.
Yes he does. The Grand Architect / Pili-Pala combo detailed in the description produces infinite mana of ANY COLOUR, if you have a look and read the cards.

Ah, cool, thanks for adding me! I'd have replied sooner, but I guess we're different time zones.
I suppose I have been thinking up a combo deck, not an aggro control, heh, I'm good at thinking up interesting interactions, but whether they work in practice is another matter!
I really like Memnarch here! I don't know if you're planning to still use Tamiyo, the Moon Sage , but Tezzeret the Seeker might work well. I guess Memnarch could also possibly work well with Mycosynth Lattice and Energy Chamber .
I'd love to try it out in real life, but I think the Academy Ruins and Sulfur Falls can get a bit pricey!
