My attempt at a cheap Modern build (EDIT: Well it was cheap about three years ago...).

This deck is the most fragile of glass cannons but I just love Kiln Fiend and 1 mana instants too much to let it go. So I'm trying to make the absolute fastest deck I possibly can. I've pored over this deck for a long time now looking for absolutely anything to make it more consistent.

I would love to hear from anyone that's played this or especially played against it!

Obvious additions are Scalding Tarns but they're way out of my budget at the moment. I'm working towards them. Also would like to add 4 Cascading Bluffs and take out two of those Sulfur Falls.

Very mulligan friendly deck. Essentially the opening hand needs to be

1 Mountain 1 Flamekin Harbinger/Kiln Fiend 1 Other land

and it's playable. If there's also an Assault Strobe in there I'm in luck. The more cantrips in opening hand the better though.
