I am trying to make a combo around Laboratory maniac which kills the opponent on turn 4.
It works as follows:
You need only THREE combo pieces.
If you equip Puresight Merrow with Paradies Mantle, you can tap him and gain one Mana, now you can untap him and activate his ability which allows you to exile the top card of your library, you can do this infinitely. If you have Laboratory Maniac out while this all happens you win the game.
You can assemble the combo very fast. If you have Paradies Mantle equiped to Puresight Merrow, you can activate its untap ability multiple times to dig through your deck until Laboratory Maniac is on top, and win the following turn. Just be careful of Lightning bolts and other stuff.
I put in a lot of cycling spells and card draw effects and I am hoping to get some feedback because I am pretty new and would like to hear your thoughts. I don't know all the cards yet so feel free to suggest some cards.
Things I have tested:
A Gifts Ungiven Package, turned out to be way to slow, you end up drawing your combo pieces before you can pull all that of anyway.
Protecting the combo, the bane of this Deck is single target removal, Lightning Bolt, Path to Exile, Fatal Push.. Common and particually bad against our Deck. I tried different protective spells, Turn Aside, Rebuff the Wicked.. but in the end Dispel turned out to be supirior. In most cases it does the same and it hits some other nice targets.
I took out the Cast Out's for Apostle's Blessings, they can help me protect the combo and block creatures with out them dying.
