A slight change to established decks, utilising the new Balduvian Atrocity card from DMU as a later game capability to suddenly bring back any non-Spark Trooper card back from the graveyard.
Particular potency arises from Balduvian Atrocity + Thunderkin Awakener
as it will allow you to bring back another creature when the Awakener attacks; whilst also leaving a 2/3 menace on the board afterwards.
Of course, the key targets for the deck are:
Lightning Skelemental + Thunderkin Awakener
Spark Trooper + Thunderkin Awakener
Ball Lightning + Thunderkin Awakener
These all provide a 7 power swing, with Trooper and Skelemental also providing supplemental effects such as lifegain or hand removal respectively. Having 1 of each colour of mana available allows you to push some serious threats with Boros Charm + Unearth
to do such potent effects as a 24 life swing with the Trooper, or ripping 4 cards out of your opponent’s hand with the Skelemental.
Don’t underestimate the power of using Boros Charm to burn your opponent or make our X/1’s indestructible, or even the Thunderkin Awakener, keeping them alive for another turn.

Sideboard mostly contains hand control tools for dealing with fast combo decks or tron threats; but also Wear / Tear to stop cards like Leyline of the Void, Rest in Peace or Grafdigger's Cage. Kolaghan's Command fits in as a nice all-rounder for this deck, pulling a creature back from GY if it would get exiled, blasting artifacts, shocking the opponent, or forcing them to discard. REMEMBER, we can very easily do 18 damage by hitting face 3 times with our bigger creatures. That last 2 damage can result in a surprise win!
Finally, Tragic Slip is here as premium removal due to the deck’s propensity for it’s own creatures dying - take that Murktide Regent!
