More commonly referred to as Soul Sisters, mono white life gain has the ability to win fast, but it also has the ability to survive a long game. Unlike other fast, early win decks like Burn and Infect, Soul Sisters Lifegain doesn't run out of fuel. It can stand up to control and tempo decks alike, and makes short work aggro and other direct damage builds.

Best of all, being mono white there's no need for fetch lands, nor even mutavault. There's only two cards of particular value in the deck, and the rest is easily obtained.
