This is a modern reanimator deck that abuses the power of discarding huge creatures and reanimating them with somehow legal cards. It might not be the simplest of decks but it will win games and it is super budget! I'm going to explain for why I chose each card and the things it's used for.
Reanimation Cards
Ever After - This is probably the worst reanimation card in this deck mainly because of the mana cost of 6. Sense this is still a great card though being able to return 2 creatures!That is why we run 2 if it had a lower CMC probably 4 but 2 is enough for this card.
Makeshift Mannequin - This is one of the only 4 mana reanimator cards and besides the draw back of having to put the sacrifice counter on the creature it's a great card. This also has a great combo with Vanpire Hexmage being able to remove the counter on the creature.
Zombify - This is the best reanimation card of them all! 4 mana to put a creature from your graveyard to the battlefield! Now that is what I like to call value. With no drawbacks what so ever and just a plain 1 black mana and 3 colorless it is easy to cast and some how legal in modern. It is a simple card but an amazing one.
Discard
Cathartic Reunion - This card was just released a little while ago but already has a play set in dredge and now has one in this deck. Although it might not be as good as it is in dredge it is still a great card in this deck and deserves a play set. It also lets you draw 3 cards so if you need to dig for a certain card this is the card for you.
Cunning Lethemancer - It isn't the best card in the world but it helps you if you need a blocker and makes you discard a fatty if you have one. It also makes your opponent discard which is a nice bonus. With a 2/2 body it will kill Dark Confidant,Some eldrazi, and many other creatures. It is 1 out of the 2 creatures that you actually cast on to the battlefield.
Faithless Looting - It is probably the best discard card in this whole deck. It is pretty simple, turn one cast it, draw some value or dig for a card you are looking for, and discard some fatties. For such a simple card it is absolutely amazing.
Lightning Axe - Lightning Sxe is the only removal in this deck but it is really strong and it is the only removal you need. Cast it turn one,discard a fattie, and destroy that Birds of Paradise or Goblin Guide. A really good card that deserves a play set in this deck.
Tormenting Voice - It is just a worse Cathartic Reunion.
Fatties
Artisan of Kozilek - This fatty when it enters the battlefield returns another fatty to the battlefield! This when it enters the battlefield puts your opponent on a 2 turn clock and if it returns another creature to the battlefield
it puts your opponents under a ton of pressure. With Ahnialator 2 even
if your opponent wanted to do something he couldn't do anything with all his lands destroyed.
Sphinx of the Steel Wind - This is probably either the best or the second best fattie just because it has lifelink. If you are having trouble with burn Sphinx it. About to die Sphinx it. You suck at Magic Sphinx it. It puts your opponent under a ton of pressure and on a 3 turn clock. With flying it can evade any Goyfs or tokens (besides Lingering Souls tokens) and will just beat your opponent down.
Ulamog's Crusher - It's just a big creature that has Ahnialator and will help you win the game. It literally just kills people.
Other Creatures
Vampire Hexmage - This has great synergy with Makeshift Mannequin. Sense there are over 9,000 removal spells in modern people are going to target the creatures you reanimate with Makeshift Mannequin. Vampire Hexmage removes these counters and takes away the problem. Never eve use Makeshift Mannequin without Vampire Hexmage.
Well that's the deck now get ready to beat your friends in the face with huge creatures and remember make modifications! This deck can base on your play style. If you want to add a color then add a color, if you want another fatty or more removal spells then add them this is a basic outline for a deck that you can make yourself!
