Leaving out the white for more streamline play, making deck quicker at doing direct damage (which is what the deck wants to do), taking less damage from lands in mirror, and making Blood Moon a non-issue. Boros Charm is good main, but the Revelry/Grudge package is better post-board and Revelry is a 2-for-1 in the way Searing Blaze is. Maindeck Firecrafts are handy against anything that counters, and are often the Game 1 win against Fish/Blue-Tron/Control.

Lavamancer split comes from it being good in certain matchups but bad/slow against others. Harness by Force/Roast are for Goyf, Reliquary and Tron dorks. Everything else should be straightforward.
