Thanks! :D Originally the list was UW and I had an Esper variant on my profile. After testing, I found that Esper was the most viable and proceeded to make cuts accordingly to this deck. This is its current state, and I'm looking to include either Tezz for better searching and just value. Thanks for looking :)

What about Disciple of the Vault for the pinging or Krark-Clan Ironworks for the infinite tokens/mana/life?

benwaeseperlman Disciple and Ironworks are just too cute for the deck. They do nothing when the combo isn't out.

What about adding Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas? It can dig for your artifacts, win through Stony silence (if you don't draw esper charm) by turning your now useless artifacts into 5/5s and drain to either help you stabilize or as a win condition.

And isn't Time Sieve also to cute? You only play 10 artifacts when the combo isn't out.

You're not wrong, I was actually going to remove it since it's done nothing in testing. It's only good when the combo is out. I still hold that one of the Tezzerets are correct, Agent is good, but Seeker puts things directly into play. I believe that siding out Agent into Seeker -> Needle is outstanding in the mirror. For the reasons of being too slow or just durdly, Sieve, Reshape, and Star are being removed from the deck.

I suggest artifact lands, namely Darksteel Citadel, for better fluency with Tezzert

I would replace 1 Supreme Verdict for 1 Thopter Assembly

infinite turns

3 Supreme Verdict's main boarded seems excessive when you have discard and spot removal and control.

I'm trying to get into Modern and I have a few questions. First, I noticed that Thopter Swords decks aren't even on MtgTop8. Is it not that well positioned right now or is it just not that good in Modern? And why did you choose Esper and not Grixis, Jeskai, or the Gifts variant?

I like the deck, though. What do you think about Inventor's Fair? And do you think that Kaladesh is going to help Thopter Sword at all?

Inventor's Fair

I chose Esper because I'm biased toward it. I believe I mentioned that in the above accordion. I apologize for the ever so late apology, and I have cleaned the deck up a bit since then. The deck isn't all that popular at the moment, but, that doesn't mean it isn't powerful. Try it out for yourself, make adjustments, see what works for you as a player. Good luck! Cheers!

Hello! I too want to make a thopter foundry combo deck. What control cards are the best? What are your thoughts about making this deck gixis? How much removal is required? What budget cuts can be made? Thanks +1

@THEbuilder, wow, I can't believe I never answered you back. Anyway, Grixis is probably objectively the best colors to play this deck with. The addition of Fatal Push as well as Kolaghan's Command are huge boons, their versatility is almost unmatched. There is something to be said about the 4Color gifts variant of the deck, but, that requires a ton of practice to pilot well as there are sometimes when you want to dump the Elesh Norn combo into the yard, or you need specific answers to threats on board. I hope this helps!

What do you think about Search for Azcanta  Flip?

I believe the card is a fantastic engine for card selection before and after it flips. The only problem is that I haven't a clue where I could fit the two copies I'd want. Outside of that, I've almost stopped playing Magic altogether as the only place that I can afford to play is untap and playing there is sometimes less than stellar. So, suffice that to say: I haven't done any testing of the deck for about a year and a half, maybe longer.
