HumanOverlord Boros Charm could be really good in this deck. True Conviction was just for the lolz of getting double strike and lifelink to all my dudes, but I agree that the cmc is too high. Ashenmoor Liege can be quite good since it cost your opponent damage to deal with it, it also boost Spark Trooper etc. Will playtest a bit more and see the weak spots in the deck. Should also change the mana base as Path to Exile is far too god against the current build. Sideboard will of course be filled with goodies.

I'll admit my knowledge of Legacy is almost nil, but I could see Whip of Erebos as a replacement for Ashenmoor Liege because it brings creatures back and the lifegain from your creatures could be a nice boost if needed.

misterkyle Actually thought of Whip of Erebos . More lifelink wouldn't hurt in this deck since there is quite much lifeloss from fetch+shock and from mana confluence.

this deck needs Grave Pact perhaps even deck test Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite , really like the concept, +1 from me
Would however drop down the land count to 22 or even 21, you're also playing too many fetches 5-6 is plenty and Mana Confluence just isn't needed. Add one perhaps two filter lands instead with another shock or two, could even get away with one of each - Dragonskull Summit - Isolated Chapel - Clifftop Retreat tbh
Also if it weren't for the blood artist you could play board sweeps without a care, would mean you could deal with other fast aggro decks like Zoo with Anger of the Gods
& Slagstorm

actually come to think of it this deck really needs a Fling with Brion Stoutarm , casting/activating after combat

PooPlayer I agree that the mana base could be better (already started to change it). As for Grave Pact , Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite , Fling , Brion Stoutarm I'm unsure since those cards benefits a more slower concept. Grave Pact costs tree black to cast and Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite is seven mana which is too slow without Faithless Looting and such.

JexInfinite The reason why I choosed Lightning Helix in this deck instead of Lightning Bolt was/is because of all the pain by fetches, shocks and mana conlfuence. Bolt could find it's way now that confluence is out. We'll see.

fling's not slow at all it's see play with goblin decks mostly which are always quick, plus it works great, you can hit during combat then fling for it the creature to just return to hand again or cast it in response to exile or unsummon

Drop boros charm for a 3rd copy of fling. Reasons?
throwing 4 damage to the face is nice but flinging for 6 is better.
indestructible is pretty useless as you're sacrificing most things, and Athreos has it anyway
Double strike? Just fling it for guaranteed double damage!

Does any one think that I should take out Lightning Helix for Lightning Bolt and Thoughtseize for Inquisition of Kozilek ?

Was not spammin, thanks. I +1d the list and like it, its just other Athreos decks, that the writer may like or pull an idea from for this list. i.e. a 1 of Purphoros, God of the Forge

my feeling is there's not enough creatures, been playing aggro/midrange for a long time now and draw wise i tend to find 23 creatures allows for a steady draw on them, think this could stand to drop to 21 on the land making room for one more at the very least. btw, any particular reason for the discard effect? doesn't seem to synergise in here imho
tell you what could work well - Porphyry Nodes since you're not aiming to keep things on the field it'll put pressure on your opponent. only thing being it would eventually hit your blood artist but with atheros out he could of course come back to hand anyway.

Disfigure Actually never seen Spark Elemental Will definitely consider it.

Solid set of cards. True Conviction doesn't really fit your curve, and as good as Ashenmoor Liege is, I don't really like it in this deck.
Boros Charm could be fun in here, if you have the mana available Boros Charm + Spark Trooper would make you laugh every time; dealing 12 damage and gaining 12 life for 6 mana. Alternatively you could just straight out smack the opponent in the face with 4 damage.
