This deck is my attempt to update an old school deck that I had 14 or so years ago. The basic concepts are the archers are able to block and then use their tap abilities to kill any attacking creatures. There are also some provoke creatures that I can attack a specific creature with and then use the archers to get rid of. I have two options for excess creature damage, those being Gift of Immortality + Kjeldoran Royal Guard and/or Darksteel Plate + Palisade Giant . The Gift of Immortality and Darksteel Plate are basically interchangeable in these combos. I have one source of hexproof, Aegis of the Gods for me, but I probably need some protection for my creatures. I prefer old (pre layout change) cards, but I'm open to new ones if they get the job done.
