@ oltmof, the guy in the video is me. And looking back and re-watching it, you are right.

It seems like Duress might be better than Thoughtseize against a Boros Burn deck, since most of what you would be getting rid of would be non-creature spells anyway and it often comes down to a damage dealing race between Rakdos Aggro and Boros Burn. Also, against control decks it seems like Duress might be better, as you are mostly likely going to want to get rid of a Supreme Verdict , Sphinx's Revelation , or some sort of removal or planeswalker. Duress is also quite a bit cheaper. Just a thought.

@ Gruzjmal, I kind of thought that too. I like Thoughtseize MB, but the balance seems good right now, but I agree with you. Duress is much better against those decks. Thanks!

Rix Maadi Guildmage doesn't really help, I'd just replace him with some burn like Magma Jet .

@ R3dMoose, I will replace it with another creature if anything. Any suggestions there?

Or maybe even Immortal Servitude would work as a 2-of, I run a lot of 2-drops

You could try running Tymaret, the Murder King in place of Rix Maadi Guildmage . Or you could put a couple Rakdos Cackler back in ... it's nice to have a higher chance getting that turn 1 drop and they provide a cheap way of activating Purphoros, God of the Forge later on.

@ Gruzjmal, that's not a bad idea, I will probably try it with all of the above just to see how it functions. If you are on YouTube at all, you can catch every match I play on there pretty much.

reverendvile777, I have seen what you mean first hand, I have faced U/W control with this deck, and won 1/3, but that was with the original version. This deck has to have a very delicate balance of drops and removal, and is going to be very touchy.
I was actually thinking of bringing in Duress instead of Thoughtseize as it hits everything you mentioned. And I really need to get my hands on Rakdos's Return to deal with the Esper and U/W/x decks.
I have also had Ash Zealot recommended to me for this, but I don't really want to deal with the dead card with the red not being there when I need it.
