When BFZ first came out my friends laughed at the mythic bulk rare Akoum Firebird. They mocked it and said it was worthless. Well I couldn't help but love the fiery legendary pokemon so here's a deck that I built to prove em wrong!

What does this deck want to do? Control the board and your opponents hand while filling yours via (Read the Bones, Tormenting Voice, Duress, Transgress the Mind)and setting up your turn 4 shenanigans. Don't feel bad if you haven't played any creatures until then!

At turn 4 is when you get to start casting your Moltres and Charizards. Start putting pressure with the Akoums and stacking your Thunderbreaks, Boltwings, and Kolaghans. Zubats Drana, Liberator of Malakir + Olivia, Mobilized for War are there to pump up your flying creatures and swing through for the win.

This deck seems to find land very nicely so don't worry about discarding an Akoum, since you can grab it out of the graveyard for later ala landfall.

I'm only trying to list cards that I have, don't feel like spending a bunch on another Chandra but I do have copies of other creatures. Suggestions about balance and matchup suggestions for sideboard.

I am considering adding Gengars Mindwrack Demon for the 4cmc black creature to match the Akoum and Thunderbreak.

Added Flaying Tendrils to the side board for board wipe/humans and it won't kill any of our creatures.
