I've always been a Simic fan, not only are the cards fun to play together (big and/or useful creatures with counterspell and manaramp backup, what's not to love?) but I enjoyed studying biology. Investigating how living things work and even fiddling with their genes? I guess I'm Simic myself. It just took me a while before I actually bought a Momir Vig and made a deck.

At the moment it's a sort of toolbox deck with big creatures to tutor for and enters-the-battlefield abilities to mess around with.

You can also exploit an infinite mana combo.Deadeye Navigator and Peregrine Drake: tap land for 5 mana, flicker Peregrine Drake with the Navigator, it returns and untaps 5 land. This leaves you back at the beginning with 3 mana up.

I originally had more infinite mana combos in the deck but I personally find them a little boring. I cut it down to a single, tutorable two creature combo so if you need it, you can fetch it.

You can abuse infinite mana by either flickering anything a lot. Also if Tidespout Tyrant or Cloudstone Curio are out then you can cast a creature spell and bounce another creature to your hand. Endlessly recycling creature spells for comes into play effects and Momir Vig triggers. If both Tyrant and Curio are out, then you can bounce two things each time and say good bye to all your opponent's permanents.

Any creature with an enter-the-battlefield abity can be flickered for abuse.

Finally, Capsize can be bought back again and again to bounce all your opponent's permanents.

I also included the good old Pickles lock since it's another combo that relies on two creatures. You need to tutor for Brine Elemental and Vesuvan Shapeshifter. If Brine Elemental is on the battlefield face up and the Shapeshifter is face down, you can unmorph the Shapeshifter, clone the Elemental and the Shapeshifter's 'when it becomes unmorphed' ability will trigger as if it was the Brine Elemental being unmorphed.

The Shapeshifter can continually be flipped back down to be unmorphed again and again, denying all your opponents an untap step.
