Dominus of Fealty would be fun for the kitchen table with this deck.

You can deal with Leyline of Sanctity if you splash green for Destructive Revelry.

TheGrayMerchant: the thing about kitchen table is that I usually beat people before I get to turn five :/
Programmer_112: I'd like to keep this mono-colored if possible but if I start seeing a lot of Leylines I'll probably make a change.

2x Hellion Crucible?
also, Stromkirk Noble can be extremely effective, especially when there are all these Heroic decks being made.I might have said Hellrider too but this seems like you want it to remain aggro.

Umm, there are no competitive Heroic decks in Modern as far as I know . . .

McSween7, Hellion Crucible is nice, however, the fact that it only produces colorless mana is an issue. I need to be able to have red mana at all times so I'm afraid it won't work in this deck. Hellrider is a bit too slow.
Stromkirk Noble, although it has it's place, is not a great fit for this deck. If I get a creature out turn one, I want it to be swinging at them, otherwise I could've just played a burn spell instead. Any turn after that and I still want to be swinging with it otherwise it's a dead card.
Thanks for the suggestions though, I appreciate it!

Hey that's okay i'll keep looking for suggestions for you

Soul Sisters isn't even a played deck >.>
And in fact, you can easily beat a Soul Sisters deck without any wraths if you know how to play RDW properly. But Volcanic Fallout is a definite sideboard include against delver.

I'm not sure how I missed Volcanic Fallout, that should be in the sideboard. Thanks guys (and girls)

Treasure Cruise? Boros Charm? Bump in the Night? Mono-R isn't consistent enough. Also you need 4 Eidolon of the Great Revel.

Do you want to add some explanation and reasoning behind those suggestions? And pray tell, why is mono red not consistent?
January 10, 2015 11:17 p.m.
Treasure Cruise allows you the card advantage that mono-red can't give you. Refilling your hand for often 1 or 2 mana is amazing. Boros Charm is more powerful than any of the other spells although it is somewhat borderline. Bump in the Night is a really good burn spell that's basically a Lava Spike with flashback if you get to the late game but don't have anything in your hand. Eidolon of the Great Revel yes, it will deal a lot of damage to you. However, it will also usually get your opponent down 6-8 life, which is really good. Mono-R doesn't have enough burn spells without drawbacks, such as more mana or less damage. See Magma Jet, which is really bad in this deck because you want to be paying 1 for 3 not 2 for 2 (damage). Same with Searing Blood. A lot of the time that'll just deal 2 to a Tarmogoyf and you'll be out. Vexing Devil is an overrated card in burn since you will never get what you want. Maybe your opponent has a 3/4 Tarmogoyf and you don't want to spend two burn spells on it? Great, they'll just take 4 and kill you. Maybe you want to stick in the final 4 points of damage that could win you the game? Fantastic, they'll just let it stick and Lightning Bolt it.

Most of the his decisions are right, except for Magma Jet, which is vital in fixing the next two turns so that you can finish them before they provide a board state advantage that overcomes yours. But yeah, 5 colour burn is probably the most consistent, only because of everything that KTK gave us. Fetches and Treasure Cruise. He also forgot Lightning Helix which helps counter some of the damage that Eidolon of the Great Revel deals.
One thing about the revels, is that if you have multiples on the field, you can just sit, wait and swing while your opponent tries to find an answer to them without dying. This helps you to get your hand filled, so that when they do answer your eidolons, you just kill them with your filled up hand. Normally I don't like them, because there are a lot of decks in which it just doesn't work against. However the current meta of delver and Scapeshift being in top place means that the eidolons really shine.

Looks pretty darn solid, but I think you need to sideboard something that can deal with enchantments. You've got artifacts covered but you yourself said that Leyline of Sanctity completely destroys you.
I saw a card the other day that I thought would be fantastic for a burn deck- Satyr Firedancer. Get more bang for your buck, burn opponents AND their creatures.

Cut Vexing Devil for two more eidolon and 2 Grim Lavamancer
January 25, 2015 8:07 p.m.
I love Devil, personally. He's done a lot of work and helped win me matches. Sleaking of preferences, I would cut Swiftspear for Grim Lavamancer, Magma Jet for Eidolon of the Great Revel, and Shard Volley for Forked Bolt.
The Shattering Spree on top of Revelery in your side is a bit much. You need some help for the Twin matchup, so cut Spree for either Combust or Torpor Orb. Otherwise, looks good!

That was wierd. Not the deck, just that I was logged in and then not. Disregard.

Swiftspear has pulled her weight ten times over in here, so I'd like to keep her in. However, I was planning on cutting the jets for Eidolons. Shard Volley has also been pretty good.
In terms of the sideboard, ignore it for now, since I'm in the process of reworking it.

Is it worth running Leyline of Punishment now that pod and it's lifegain shenanigans are gone?
January 25, 2015 8:44 p.m.
aeonstoremyliver says... #24
Well, lifegain is the nemesis of RDW. Peeps still run Scooze, Courser, Finks, Rhino, Lightning Helix, and other shenanigans. They'll board those in against you. Peeps are anticipating Aggro, and RDW is well positioned ATM as a Tier 1 deck.
Leylines are really only effective in your opening hand, so you should run 3-4 in your board and mulligan into them. Other options are Flames of the Blood Hand, Rain of Gore, and Everlasting Torment.

Why is Destructive Revelry in the sideboard without any green sources?
ThisIsBullshit says... #1
Oh I agree that fetches are useful and often necessary in some decks, but there's no way a mono-red burn deck needs fetches.
