Blood Scrivener does not work in this deck. Sign in Blood is a better fit - it's basically two turns of Scrivener, but it doesn't make you dump your hand. Even this deck doesn't necessarily want to dump its hand ASAP, and it's just hard to do when you have an Obliterator in hand. I'm going to give it a shot in my ZombiePox deck, where it also gets the creature type synergy B-)
Sounds very interesting... in fact, your comment inspired me to take a crack at another deck. I'm going to keep this one intact, but I based ZombiePox on Smallpox and Dredge decks. It's a lot of fun to play, and has actually done pretty well so far (at least on Cockatrice). I'm also thinking about making that one mono B... I wonder if I just like mono B too much.

Mortivore is a must if your opponent's graveyards are getting bigger.

I believe Liliana's Caress would benefit this deck exponentially. It is legal in modern according to magiccards.info

Dark Confidant is wanted in a deck with a low mana curve. In this deck he isn't so hot.
Have you considered making this GB, with a more "Rock" like feel? Currently, gifts runs a similar package with Life from the Loam and Raven's Crime .
So basically, you would be able to strip their hand repeatedly and play better creatures in GB to beat face with, and have better removal.
Sound intresting?
