In a world where Red Deck Wins, we must steel ourselves...

The concept here is pretty simple. We're seeking to mimic classic Affinity with what we've got in standard. Ultimately what we want to do is drop Traxos, Scourge of Kroog or Karn, Scion of Urza to mimic the size of something like an Arcbound Ravager. Voltaic Construct grants pseudo-vigilance, but we make serious recurring threats w/ Forebear's Blade to grant Traxos or Metalwork Colossus vigilance and/or trample... a very scary prospect.

If the game runs long, we use Aethersphere Harvester and Inventors' Fair to pull up some life. And our nearly free Colossus with Scrap Trawlers to recover from board wipes. As a bonus of course, if we're missing anything, the Fair becomes a tutor for our missing piece.

Finally, Phyrexian Scriptures creates a one-sided board wipe in stalled or otherwise untenable board states and hoses our opponent's graveyard to a degree.

Still Very Much Testing... — June 9, 2018

After testing on Arena last night, I found that Bomat Courier wasn't as effective for me as it is for R/X decks, simply because I lack the early path clearing required to make it sing.

I've also dumped Metallic Mimic, because all it does is die. Maybe once every 5 times I got it down, it was able to survive long enough to grant more than one +1/+1 counter. I think we can definitely do better.

I took down the number of Antiquities wars and introduced Powerstone Shards to create large mana dumps EoT with Voltaic Construct. Ideally, this goes into Walking Ballista becoming immense.

I would really like to include some Scrap Trawlers though and wish I could've made the Metallic Mimics work since I could've been able to recur Ballista off any artifact's death.
