Ultimate Price is inefficient compared to Bile Blight and Drown in Sorrow. Tormented Hero is too slow and dies to Wild Slash. Obelisk of Urd and Dictate of Erebos are both too slow in the matchup. Merciless Executioner is too easily chump-blocked and dies to any burn.

Blood-Chin Fanatic can provide extra reach from mid to late game. Duress (Thoughtseize) gets rid of control cards. Self-Inflicted Wound deals with Ojutai.

Too many Master of the Feast can be detrimental by giving Control card draw. Bile Blight and Ultimate Price are dead cards. Tormented Hero makes way for Self-Inflicted Wound.

Self-Inflicted Wound is a great hate card to include. Duress removes Elspeth, Downfall, and Dromoka's Command. Blood-Chin Fanatic can provide reach if Rhinos are on the board. An extra Bile Blight can help against Fleecemane Lions, Deathdealers and Raptors.

Tormented Hero and Pain Seers are easily blocked by early threats. Ultimate Price is dead against a majority of creatures (may keep if they play Courser). Master of the Feast is bad against Dromoka's Command

Self-Inflicted Wound does work once again. Duress removes vital cards like Collected Company and Dromoka's Command. Blood-Chin Fanatic allows damage to get through without getting combat getting bogged down from morphs and manifests.

Pain Seers and Tormented Heroes are ineffective against early blockers such as Coursers and Caryatids. Master of the Feast is again countered by Dromoka's Command.

Self-Inflicted Wound does well here to remove enemy threats. An additional Obelisk allows all the 2/1s to fight without trading into morphs. Blood-Chin provides reach in the lategame once again. Some number of Drown may be necessary against a large number of manifests.

Tormented Hero is simply too slow against an average draw (T1 Mystic T2 Caryatid/Courser). Pain Seer is easily stopped by the same threats.

Duress can remove many relevant spells (Crackling Doom, Draconic Roar, Mardu Charm, Crux of Fate). An extra Bile Blight shores up against Rabblemaster and its tokens, as well as SFGM.
