Sideboard

Maybeboard

For the most part this is a Vintage deck. It's meant to be played with my friends who play slightly different. They don't use planeswalkers and it's a boardless single game, not best 2 of 3.(I added a board just in case I decide I want to play at another local tourney.)

Leaning Discard over Land Demo.(Still undecided)

I used to go and play at a local tourney every week. I got pretty decent. Consistently placing top 3 each week(Usually 1st or tied for second). I quit playing around kamigawa. So admittedly I'm out of date on the meta. If I'm overlooking something please let me know. I know Dredge is a thing. xD I know I overlooked that. My friends would never play a dredge deck.
I tagged this deck with multiplayer due to the fact that it still functions fairly well in chaos(Free for alls) even though it was designed for 1v1. I wanted to list this as a budget deck because it doesnt contain any $60+ singles but I have a feeling others would disagree with my interpretation of what a budget vintage deck it. xD There is no "Semi-budget" Hub. It's also listed as casual because it's not "High tier" to "Top Tier" competitive.
Primary kill condition Corrupt & Exsanguinate. Synergises well with Mirari, Bosium Strip & Cabal Coffers.

Secondary Kill condition is Genju of the Fens. Synergises well with Cabal Coffers.

Exsanguinate & Genju of the Fens should help me bypass Ivory Mask and alike cards.

Boseiju, Who Shelters All should help me bypass counterspell decks.

Corrupt has a secondary usage, doubling as more creature control.

Innocent Blood, Thoughtseize, Sensei's Divining Top and Genju of the Fens are my turn one. Vampiric Tutor If I need too.

Diabolic Edict, Geth's Verdict and Hymn to Tourach for my 2nd turn. Diabolic Tutor If I need too.

Bosium Strip, Necropotence and Phyrexian Arena Turn 3 is all about "card advantage". Beseech the Queen or Oblivion Stone If I need too.

Funny note: I usually end up tutoring for lands. xD Is this a common practice, or do I have bad luck?

Yea, dat maybe board is almost 3 decks worth of cards if you ignore lands. xD I personally like to weigh every option I have. Consider to pros and cons of each.

An example is Bile Blight was considered for tokens but, I chose to go with Diabolic Edict & Geth's Verdict for indestructible creatures as well as a certain 15/15.

I'm basically 13+ years out of date on the meta. I'm mostly winging it and it's not play tested against other deck. I'll be shortening it as I collect more experience with the "modern" vintage format. xD

Innocent Blood, Diabolic Edict, Geth's Verdict are for indestructible creatures & early game slow down. Combo with Bosium Strip to increase the amount of turns you're stalling for.

Damnation and Oblivion Stone are my "Plan B." Bad starts happen. It's nice to have a single card that have the capabilities to recover from it. Even if it's only situational.

I believe that most of the deck is self explanatory.
