Take out returned phalanx and put in baleful eidolon. Returned phalanx isnt great

Corrupt has to high of a mana cost. Abhorrent Overlord might be good here. I'd play Hero's Downfall , Read the Bones , and Thoughtseize also. Mainboard Duress for the control match-up, and swap Returned Phalanx for Baleful Eidolon

I love Rakdos Cackler but for this deck you may think about Thrill-Kill Assassin instead. You lose your one drop, but gain another deathtouch, and also the ability to unleash.

Speaking of illiterate valendras, I said also, as in addition too, as in they both have it. Also, while you're being a dick, that is something you private message me because it has nothing to do with his deck. That being said, perhaps instead of Scourgemark you may consider Dark Favor , you lose the draw ability, but get a much more powerful creature...also, not sure where you would put it, but Two-Headed Cerberus is a great 3 mana double-strike.

i would run more scry lands.

I'd take out a doomblade, and make it a 4th Connections, and then drop to 19 swamps, add 2 more mutavaults and 1 more scry land

It might be worth running 4x Temple of Deceit for the scry. This isn't an aggro deck so a tapped land doesn't hurt you, but a scry 1 can help you quite a lot.

Also, against what match up would you sideboard in 2 more Pack Rat s? I think you can drop that from your side board to open up 2 spots for something else. Pack Rat is just meant to be a place to get rid of your removal spells when they don't have creatures, or if you have too much land or w/e, it's not meant to be your main win-con.

I actually haven't played mono blue yet. My locals has no one who plays it... But I've played the mirror quite a bit and I've won almost everyone if those!

I found that the only way to beat mono-blue is to just dump your hand to Pack Rat 7 2/1 tokens vs 5 5/5's (;
